Probably need to re jig how they award this thing. It seems they reward consistency no matter how much of a standout game they play in the particular round they were nominated.
Not sure but they probably could reward a 5 4 3 2 1 across the round for the eligible players & at the end of the season tally the votes.
Anything would have to be better than the current system.

Three players have been nominated against us this year, and four who were nominated last year as well. Stack had to practically challenge Walsh for favouritism before getting a gong.
Since Baker and Bolton were nominated in 2019 they've played in a combined 14 finals for 4 premierships. The other 38 nominations after Baker (including Stack) have played in 14 finals combined (Daniel 4, King 2, Starcevich 2, Quaynor 2, Answerth 2, Battle 1, Allen 1).

Needs to keep playing even when the experience returns.
