Welcome Tom Brown

Hardly been on the park in 2 years.

Does he get another contract?

I'm leaning towards no TBH
What an extension on top of his existing one till the end of 2025 season :) .
I must be the only one left on the Tom Brown train.
Hopefully gets a decent run at it after latest setback.

Already contracted until the end of 2025.
16 of 18 VFL games in his first season last year.
Don’t really consider that “barely been on the park”

So really he has played 16 of 20 VFL games since he started?

I only see the occasional VFL game so to me he's an unknown quantity. Until we see him play some games in the seniors I'll reserve passing any judgement but I still have faith he can make it. His injury was unfortunate timing, otherwise he probably would have debuted already this season.

Wow. You are right. I'm shocked he played that many games last year. I can barely remember him playing.

Oh well, he will be thankful he's got another couple of years but we need to start to see something when he's back playing

I am simply amazed at the number of people writing this guy off.
He started to look quite good in the latter part of the 2022 season. Takes a very nice grab.
Still only 19 years old
Let’s give the kid a chance

We looked over a 'Brereton like Foward' to pick this kid up.
Hartley & Clarke better hope Brown iisn’t another Fiora over Pavlich cases.

Indeed. A couple of examples. Dan Butlers first 2 years yielded 0 games. He’s now played 108 and is a premiership player.

Jason Castagna first 2 seasons yielded 5 games . He played 134 games and 3 flags.

Kamdyn McIntosh first 2 seasons yielded 0 games. Now has 150 and 2 flags.

Every kid drafted isn’t going to be a Sheezel or an Ashcroft.

True this. I always wondered why are we playing this unknown kid that's shown nothing since drafted from the start of 2017.....and it worked!!

I only had faith in Castagna and Rio to kick goals back then.

Broady’s a bit better than a role player
True - but he wasn’t when he was 19 .
Brown was very good in praccy game v North.
This injury very unlucky for him as he would have been in ahead of Ralphsmith I reckon
