Yeah, had a bad game but still a pup.

Good learning experience for him that having a good week on media street won't ensure you play well the following week.

Typical up and down games from inexperienced players. He'll bounce back

Did he drink some bath water? Disappointing. Hope he plays better against the Dees.
*smile* day to be a defender. Still laced out some excellent kicks but with how poor we were through the middle I'm not too concerned.

Compare him to Max Holmes.
Lethargic and laconic.
He needs to add urgency to his game.
He won't last because he kicks well

Not sure if he was targeted and or he wasn't used by his team-mates? Did no kick ins (granted he's inexperienced) despite Broad doing so on occasions not. He needs to be uaed as much as possible. Turned it over at least 3 times.

Are we back in the “should’ve taken Van Roo” camp again? Just trying to keep up
I drove that Bus but bygones by bygones, the boy had shown plenty to be excited about.

And shock horror, he had an off day, how dare he have a bad day with less than ten games under his belt.

Perspective people.

I'd like to see him take Shorts role if Short isn't fit for the ANZAC game to try and get him more into the game from an offensive perspective and I'd be looking to give him Shorts kick ins. We gave them to Broad yesterday and whilst I love Broady, his kicking is very safe. Vlastuin and Brown taking kick ins, can make us very attacking, move the ball quickly out of our D50 into the corridor. We just need to be sure that we don't smash the guys for being aggressive, its clearly what Ooze is trying to teach them, to attack the corridor and if it doesn't work, don't dwell on the error, move onto the next moment.

yep, the only thing left we have to lose is better draft picks. the sooner we expose these kids to big boy roles the better off we will be long term, which clearly is what our priority should be.

It is no real surprise that Tom was down on Sunday when we had no midfield to speak off so the ball rained down relentlessly on our defence so it was always at full stretch and had little time to be creative. Inexperienced and young players will struggle when they are under so much pressure. Even our more experienced defenders struggled at times on Sunday so I will give the lad some slack and see how he goes against the Dees. For me he is still a bright part of our future
