Will Hawkins get suspended?

I caught a bit of D King on SEN today saying he believes the Cats can say because he was moving and only about 60 metres from the ball that he was in the play ...ridiculous. Bit like Cornes he likes saying stupid things so people talk about him.

And that was the moment you knew he was gone.
When king backs you, game over, you lose.

I'm conflicted by this one. I didn't think this act was as bad as last week (nor does it warrant suspension), but I thought he should have been suspended last week, and he got off. Weird.

But agree, whatever works best to screw up Collingwood's game I'm down for.
I can’t criticise that critique. I also thought last week’s effort by Greene was beyond the pail and warranted suspension.

The few Geelong fans I know screaming about the TH suspension.

“AFL are a joke”. “AFL making a scapegoat outta Hawkins”. “AFL you’ve ruined football, I’m never watching another game again “.

Makes me larf so hard those salty Cats fans comparing Tomahack's off ball coward hit to Cotch's in play bump in 2017.
I mean really???:rotfl2
Agree TOO, why the comparison? It is non existent.

Maybe a fear of tigers is the only nexus.

Let’s give them something to lament on Friday night.

Go TIGES!

interesting tonight they were comparing TH hit with Gaff on Brayshaw. Looked similar, v different results obviously, 1 week v 6 or whatever it was. I have always thought the heavy weighting of the damage over the intent or carelessness of the act is wrong. It is a factor sure, but it shouldn't be the main factor.

Did Dangerfield get fined yet?
AFL rule is you can’t talk about a report before the verdict.
Or did they just sweep that under the carpet

I looked for a little sweeping under the carpet emoji but no dice.:vomit

What does a player have to do these days to cop more then a fine or a week?
Seriously.
Hawkins punch brought back memories of the thuggery of the 70's and 80's.
What an absolute disgrace he didn't get 4-5 weeks.
They were trying to get him off by saying it was in play.
The ball was 50 metres away and going the opposite way.
Hawkins has a history of striking, they should've looked at that and doubled it.
Why aren't the AFL doing anything about this?

Dangerfield is starting to *smile* me.
Always involved in *smile* that doesn't effect him.
Cocky prick too

You’ve got to appreciate the context.
Some Geelong supporters are still crying over Freddy Swift in the last minutes of the ‘67 Granny when (according to them) Freddy was paid a late game saving mark that was almost into row 2 when he snavelled it.
Just lovely!

Greene should have got 2 weeks for what he did to Bont, and should get at least a week, if not 2, for last week's effort. Given his track record, maybe 3.

This is all ridiculous.

Much as I wouldn't mind Greene harassing some Collingwood players, there is no way he should get off.
