Personally love watch the track competition, especially the tactics of the marathon, and long distance races of the 5000 -10000 metres, but I do love watching the sprints and the 800 & 1500m.
Our best chance for gold is the Mens Pole Vault in Steven Hooker
best chance for medals are
Craig Mottram 5000
Paul Burgess Mens Pole Vault
Nathan Deakes walk events
Kym Howe womens pole vault
should be finalist (or top 8) and possible medallists
John Steffensen men 400
Scott Martin shot put
mens 4X400 relay
Sarah Jamieson womens 1500
Benita Johnson womens 10000
Jana Rawlinson womens 400m hurdle

Fortunately Athletics Australia is getting its act together with more world medal hopefuls than previous years and hopefully continual improvement for Beijing.
