i didn't. Matty Ryan is very good positionally and in his distribution but has never been an outstanding shot stopper. Redmayne clearly trained for this.
Apart from a period in the first half we surprisingly had the better of that game in general play but as usual couldn't finish our chances. Team was extremely disciplined and kept great shape.
Peru unlucky with the header onto the post but on balance we deserved that and have to give Arnie some props - team obviously benefitted from a long training camp in Qatar.

Well done Socceroos !!! Best performance in some time when it counted most. Peru surprisingly impotent compared to WC 2018 but then they had nothing to lose. Didn't agree with substituting Ryan & Redmayne's gumby impressions but it got the result so grudging credit to coach Arnold.
He got lucky but the team deserved that 'luck' with their mostly assured performance.
