Tonight shows why Geelong are still flakey. Port smashed them in the clearances and around the stoppages. Ports fwd pressure caused turnover after turnover. Rohan and Dahlhous back to what we all remember - nowhere to be seen. Take note RFC.

And our strengths are clearances and stoppages...............................................................

I’m not convinced by Geelong. We had our reserves in and we kept them goalless for over 40 minutes of football.
West Coast, especially if NitNat gets back in is my favourite

Realistically there are 3-4 teams that win the flag, this my take
Geelong...not convinced. A *smile* load of front runners.. Duncan, Rohan, malakellis.
GWS...quality throughout the side, but the Duds are really highlighted in September.. can win it, but again
Collingwood....can win it but they just don’t know how to win in September.. since 1979 10 GF’s 2wins 7 loses 1 draw
West Coast...got even quality through the side. If they finish top 2, almost guaranteed a spot in the GF
Adelaide...nice side Sloane and the crouch brothers are quality, but don’t bat deep enough
Brisbane...whoever plays them, it’s another Bye. Similar to hawthorn last year
Port..only if they to finish 5-6 will they win a final. Not good enough
Richmond...another season which could’ve been something special. Get a couple kids back will trouble whoever we play.
Fremantle... no chance..next
Essendon..what a *smile* side, would struggle to beat Carlton currently

Every team drops a game they're expected to win here and there. Geelong are still the team to beat from games I've seen this year.

Motlop played atrociously. Panic merchant of the highest order.
Best ive seen Motlop play in eons, not that he had a high base to come off. Stats no dis similar to Selwoods, he ( motlop) actually laid 4 tackles. He was lucky not to be dropped adter his soft c effort against Freo previous week. His last 2 years at the cats were a disgrace. By Motlops standards hr did well.

50% disposal efficiency, 8 turnovers despite only 4 contested possies. 3rd worst Supercoach score for Geelong despite 17 disposals. He was terrible. You are right though he doesn't play many good ones. Probably best game was when he kicked 3 goals round 2 against Carlton. I don't think Geelong are losing sleep over letting him go.

Yes it continued all night BUT Port were on all night, they were due a "scalp"and cats due a loss. My fav dumb ruling of the umps, free kick to port for dangerous tackle...fair enough, yet 5 or so equally bad tackles not penalised. Motlop playing well told me the cats were off theri game.

Cats showed they are quite soft in the contest. Kelly went down like he was shot in the last quarter but was not even hurt. Rohan got a slight bump and doesn't come back on. They were smashed in contested possessions. Dangerfield was trying out for the Olympic diving team, cannot believe he was not called out for staging the way Rance has been at times. Lycett showed just how soft the Geelong rucks are. I think teams will go to school on this, hit the cats hard physically and they wilt. Port should have won by 6 or 7 goals in reality.

I have little doubt with a full side we have the cats covered at the G, they don't handle the pressure.

Yeah not so sure about bringing that Port pressure game to Geelong. Power are leading the clearance differentials this year so that is their strength. Geelong are only 13th. Unfortunately the Tigers are 17th. Cats are 2nd for contested possession differential, Port are 3rd and that's where Port asserted their ascendancy. Tigers are stone motherless last (by a long way).

When doesn’t Rohan get hurt? Seriously any contact he gets he heads straight to the bench.
He was carrying on like he got hit by Barry Hall.
Kelly will struggle if he leaves Geelong. Kelly is good because but he gets off the hook because opposition clubs concentrate on covering Ablett, Selwood and Bairstow

Bloody hell. Even the AFL website has changed their match centre. Change for the sake of change. I'm struggling really bad on this forum.
