Will Hawkins get suspended?

Danger saying that he hopes the MRO continues being consistent in fining players and not suspending them because you want the b3st players out there playing.
Even if the best players clock their opponent 50m off the ball.
Shut up Patrick.

He gets off.

Why? Because we are playing in a corrupt joke of a competition. For Gil, the AFL is nothing more than a theatre production. When it comes to football Gil is a halftime entertainment expert and that's about it.

Maybe it's easier for us to plan for what we know anyway.

If Greene didn't get rubbed out can't see Hawkins getting rubbed out.
If it had have been a Tiges player it would be 4 weeks.

If the AFL continue to trot out the, “head is sacrosanct” or “the players are role models to the junior grades” and refuse to suspend Hawkins, I’ll fair dinkum spew up.

No. He'll get off. Its finals and he's a star of the game.
Forget it was behind play and he's got history. The Contrived Football League will weasel it's way to a fine.

Wasn’t the announcement from the MRO supposed to be at 3pm? No doubt SHocking and Christian need more time to come up with a feasible explanation as to why he will be fined only.

He’s been offered a 1 week suspension.

Of course if Tom doesn’t want it he doesn’t have to take it......

Fair result. Can’t see any grounds for appeal but I’m sure they’ll seriously consider it. But if they do and fail he misses the GF if they get through.

Interesting conundrum for Salty.

Sounds stupid doesn't it. I can see a sheepish Michael anti-Christian offering with his head bowed.

The AFL are good aren’t they.
By grading it low impact and intentional it gives Geelong every option to debate the action as careless, which if appealed successfully downgrades it to a fine.
Low impact please .
Complete stitch up.

There is only a financial risk with taking it to the tribunal. They will challenge it

Pretty sure it can't be doubled anymore. .. stand to be corrected tho

Is that right? It says he can take a week with an early plea. I assumed that meant he would risk 2 weeks if he took it to the tribunal. What’s the point of an early plea if that’s not the case? May as well just go to the tribunal and argue the case.
