Our failing education system which slides down the international ladder on a yearly basis. Angry lesbians make bad masters.

Sure, why not, but you haven't explained why women having a family is a life choice and men choosing not to go to university is somehow not a life choice.

Suggest you start with the gender balance of today's teachers, ask why there is no intiative to "correct" it, and speak to a few male teachers who've left the profession.

For bonus points, maybe contemplate why teachers as a group are so unhappy in their jobs. ;)

Nah, I'd actually prefer if you explain why women make life choices with consequences but men are helpless victims with no agency.

So you had to go all the way to the Telegraph of London to find some angry feminists?

Education is failing boys throughout the western world. It was literally the first article that came up in a Google search. Made sure I scanned it before posting, just to make sure it said what the headline purported, lest I earn Baloo's wrath again.

so your evidence is an article from England that came up on google that you had a quick squiz at to make sure it was at least a little relevant? probably cant argue with that.

Seems like cultural Marxism to me, it's a horrible leftist trope to blame others or "the system" for failures to make the right choices in life - like choosing to enrol in university. You called it correctly when you wrote with great wit "Life is so unfair, forcing people to make choices as it does".

Well I do have three sisters who are qualified teachers.

It's a noble vocation, underpaid as well I'd suggest. Good for them.

Anyhow, good luck on your quest to stop the oppression of young men by angry lesbians forcing them to make poor life choices like choosing not to enrol in higher education.

Are those bad choices like the ones women make when they shack up with violent partners? :blowingup

Not sure, you were the one who introduced the concept of people taking responsibility for their life choices.

It seems you are selective about who you apply that rule to, so I'll let you decide.
