U.S Presidential Election

Don't play Mr. Naiveté. It's unbecoming.

You implicitly excused lawlessness by scoffing at the concept of legal trial, on the grounds that police in general are murderers. It was a bad post.
Don't backtrack now Lee. You explicitly wanted lawlessness by urging governments to kill citizens.
Legal trial? You are buying bullets.

Seriously the situation is tucked up in the US, and it needs calming and steps towards peace.
The shops can be rebuilt. Lives not so much

Lee would rather incite violence, fear, and hate than attempt calm and peace. Always.

Which is why he's in favour of a shallow, petulant toddler leading the worlds largest democracy.

He was clearly warning that looters will be shot. That is standard practice the world over.
Regardless of whether it is an appropriate message, do you think it was statesmanlike? As you Vlastuin Trump has acted. What about his call for MAGA (white men with guns) to meet the protesters?

I agree that even criminals have the right not to die in the act of being arrested. Generally speaking.

Was it established whether George was in fact passing counterfeit notes? A serious although non-violent offence, and not one he deserved to die over. Just asking whether he put himself in a position for something bad to happen.

I don't understand the lack of empathy you have for the plight of African americans. It's not a level playing field. I can understand the explosion of anger. And Trump's statements are entirely unhelpful.

Just when the US needs a cool head and strong leadership you get this flip flopping, hypocritical sociopath running the show.

Oh I understand the anger. I just don't understand the barracking for criminals, as though they actually occupy the moral high ground. They have forfeited it with their violence.

It's like Unforgiven, there are no good guys in this.

How do wars start? And how did e.g. Germany got the jump in WW2? Sometimes it's necessary to meet force with force.

And if Antifa is indeed responsible for the violence, they need to be exterminated like vermin.

The US is imploding and Trump doesn't know how to handle it.

The 9 minute clip of the poor bloke dying under the cops knee is one of the most distressing things I've seen.

What about the majority of protesters who are peaceful? Arent they the good guys for putting themselves at risk to highlight the ongoing fear black people live with in America, only to be pepper sprayed,
what about the black journalists who are putting themselves at risk of being attacked by police to ensure the truth is shown?

Not everyone involved in the protests is doing anything wrong.

No issue with peaceful protesters. They just don't know how to stay peaceful. It's Rodney King all over again - crim gets worked over by bad cops, people burn stuff. History repeating.

Cops manhandle black criminals, cops manhandle white criminals. Weed out the bad ones and carry on.

I find the justification of criminal behaviour in this thread for the sake of taking sides a little disturbing.

Yeah, it’s cute how progressive apologists are playing this one. I’ve seen focus tried to be shifted on to the FBI, Trump, alt right, mainstream media, and a bit of “whataboutism” regarding “Australia is no better”

That's some major flip flopping right there. Not 12 hours ago you were riling against the peaceful protest of taking a knee.

What's the definition of a peaceful protest for you? One that's not seen, not heard and doesn't offend any sensitivities?

I said it was unpatriotic and sh!t, but it wasn't criminal. It breeds anarchy of the sort we're seeing now.

Peaceful protests have an impact when large numbers turn out, it's why protest organisers customarily exaggerate the figures.

Violent protests just turn people off to the message. The violence becomes the headline.

This is quite incoherent.
You clearly have no idea what the WHO does around the world.
Pandemic.
China.
Hundreds of thousand dead.
No buy in from China in the early days.
Suck an egg about coherent chatter old mate, it was in response only to the worst world wide crisis the world has experienced since the end WW2. This is the time the buy in was needed most, and they didnt get it. Get it.
The US has the right to fund what it wants to fund.
