Jack Riewoldt [Merged]

My view is a bit different tonight, thought he showed some good signs and on TV his running patterns looked like they were improving.

He is out of some touch and is fumbly but with some confidence that will quickly come back.

I agree. I think its just a pure form issue. Maybe needs to take a week off, play some golf and reset. Always got someone on his hammer as well.

Not elite, but doesn't need to be anymore.

I think he's improved the last couple of weeks.

Two concerns with Jack, his fumbling and his lack of pace. The former is likely form and confidence, the latter a real concern as often when players lose their pace - they lose it fast.

Yep he's really struggling. Even that last kick at goal; was nowhere near it and was a complete mung.

Jack has said a few things about the season and the hub, etc.. maybe we are seeing a reflection of that in the games

Stay home and give your spot to CJ.
He was woeful tonight
Shaw humiliated him by sending Pittard to him and he still struggled.
Hardwick needs do a 'Beveridge' and Rest/drop him.

He use to be Mr Reliable and now he worse then catagna at a set shot.
6 goals in 7 games playing at full forward in premiership side.
Its time to past the batten to Cj or Chol.

*I'm still angry he didn't kick that goal against Collingwood.
I would've sacked him after that game. Like what John Elliott did to Matthew Hogg after the 93 GF.

Definite signs of improvement. Got a little separation, I think it was that last mark.

Clearly out of touch but some signs it is coming back slowly.

Maybe he can kick a lazy 5 next week on his fave from last year's GF.

a nice moment after the game,

Capt. Jack marshalled the troops and came over to the tiger army reserve,

and gave us a really sincere show of appreciation.

After they sang the song he pointed to what looked like they were going somewhere. At the time I couldn’t tell from the TV.

last week we were all in the nose bleeds.

the Gabba trustiest have deemed people could spit 150m?

was heaps, heaps better at GC.

I was front row (which was 2 rows back from the fence), the crowd were really rowdy, and you could really feel the players getting energised off it.

Pretty much after we had the game locked in, I was on eZyT watch, disappointed there was no large sign , saying g’day to your Victorian brothers and sisters

like too know how many times Jack an Tom are flying in the same pack, we don’t seem to be getting good split down there , in saying that it’s bloody hard to find space

Jack’s never been quick but he’s just fumbling at the moment. He’ll come good. Once he settles into life away from home, he’ll be fine.

Never been quick which is the problem now. Is now even slower thanks to age so can't get the separation he needs and is closed down quicker. That affects your confidence. I'm not confident we're going to see the Reiwoldt of old. It's a worry but not unexpected at his age.

I actually took a really silly sign and held it up a lot just for you guys. Obviously they left it on the cutting room floor.

I wasn't focussing on Jack and Tom (Marlion, Notorius and the piñata were my area of focus),

but I did see jack go up with tom when he shouldn't have twice.

the forward process was 100% better than last week but still has 100% to improve.

the work rate of the piñata (Higlet, Aarts, George and Danny) was first rate.

Mac covered an astonishing amount of grass again too.

there was a really funny moment right in front of us. Jack took a good pack mark at HB and he heard someone in space call for it, started exciting the handball (he was in a paddock), saw it was Kmac, and pulled the handball.

I saw this a few times. I think theres a 'dont handball to Kam' rule in place
