Jacobs in for Mummy, I guess they were all out of Ruckman who weren't suffering from PTSD...

Really hoping Naish makes a go of it because he will bring something to the side we are lacking in. Elite kicking skills.

25 disposals and a goal Paddy. No pressure.

Only guess is dropped off in intensity on the track who knows.

Extra run against this lot wont hurt.

On their home deck Greene back, and them being shitcanned by all and subndry .........................its gonna a big ask.

I'm not that confident to be honest.

That said if the Tiges can snatch the points by whatever means neccesary that will set our season up going forward and will deal the Gee Whiz a blow in regard to future top 4 aspirations.

You may well be right, no other reason I guess. True they have been canned big time, it will be a big ask more so that we are missing 7 of our top 18 players.
I'm hoping for a minor miracle, hope the boys can get the job done.

Id prefer 15 and 3 or 4 goals :))

Yes Naishy is a goal kicker but I wonder if there will be a greater emphasis from the coaching group for him to fold back into the halfback hole? that seems to be our game plan for our wingers .
Probably the reason he has had to bide his time to get the balance right?
Footskills will be handy regardless as long as he doesn't try to bite off too much, play the percentages.

Caddy wouldn't have folded further back than the centre square too often. He's generally the link between defence and attack.

Naish is nothing like Ben Lennon.

Naish has performed Really well week after week in the vfl for a couple of years and absolutely deserves his chance.

Great selection, true winger who can kick a goal

Will have to wait and see. Lennon racked up plenty of 25-30 possession games at VFL level but couldn't quite translate to AFL level. This is Nash's chance. Was pretty good in the 2 games he played last year I thought.

Naish ahead of Stack and Ross, that's a surprise.

Hope he does well, run, run, run.

Emg: Ralphsmith, Dow, Marcov and Stack.

Ross was an emergency last few weeks, how does one come off the EMG list when they're not playing.

Dirty socks?

Leon Cameron when asked why he had left out Mumford said "well you know, we needed some confidence against the Tiges with a ruckman that wasn't on the end of a flogging by the Tiges in a GF". Journo, "but what about 2017". Cameron, "ummmmm oh *smile*"

By my count we have have 10 players in the team who were not picked in the ND. We have just 6 first rounders and only 3 of those were top 10.

would be interesting to compare that to the giants

* squad of 26
** Fremantle & Geelong not named as yet - last week's figures shown
Yet they still get ridiculous zone concessions and two top 10 picks every year!

the age today has pointed out GWS has had 11 top 16 picks since 2015 - the tigers have 1 (Rioli)
