Loving Raoul "Haymakers" Juke's session yesterday.Raoul has really gone full gonzo on this one
I though the AFL media department was meant to be independent of the AFL management?"It’s understood the decision was made because the AFL believes Cleary’s obligations are as an AFL employee before his obligations as a journalist."
Compromised AFL media
I though the AFL media department was meant to be independent of the AFL management?
But for now, Trent and Brooke really should follow Buckley's lead.
So Mitch Cleary re-tweeted something that was the truth, and public knowledge.......Gil is now operating `a la the Trump playbook.Mitch Cleary stood down for re-tweeting the incriminating photo. The Gilstapo out in force. Brooke's little trip has had quite the knock on effect.
Shes not dumb, she married richmonds greatest ever captain.
That takes some nous.
Hardly confidential when Brooke had already posted it on Instagram.Fair enough. He is an AFL employee and knew they were treating all breaches as confidential
Richmonds greatest ever captain act like collingwoods *smile* coach?
Now if that aint the most cockamaimy thing i ever heard?
Its gone nuts in here. I get it with people in lock down and doing it tough.
But its nuts. Woman makes mistake in mental times when noone knows the rules?
So shes on Instagram? Hello, shes a 20 something. And as if she posts stuff she knew was breaking the rules. Shes not dumb, she married richmonds greatest ever captain.
That takes some nous.
Lay off
Nah, most cockamaimy thing in this thread were those blasting any players that wanted to stay back in Melbourne for personal reasons.
One second you're saying she's a 20-something on Social Media so forgive her. - Sounds like a line Eddie would use if a Collingwood player posted a *smile* pick on Instagram for the world to try and see
Everyone was well briefed on the rules, hammered into them. I'm sure before they let the families go up they again gave them fairly detailed and repeated warnings about what could and culdn't be done.
She either forgot, which counters your "she's not dumb line" or she took a calculated gamble that she wouldn't get caught or be punished, which she lost badly.
Either way her delibverate actions followed by posting them on Social Media to get free services landed the club a $20k fine, bad press when we didn't need it, who knows what sort of morale/mood changer it's been in the camp, so she and the Skip need to own it. Simple really.
To make it worse it looks like RFC pressured the AFL to keep the said pic out of the public eye if at all possible and now one of AFL Media's better Journos, Mitch Cleary has been stood down. That story in itself will keep the whole RFC/Brooke saga in the spotlight even longer.
What would a "Richmond Man" do when they let the team down? We'd all expect them to stand up and own whatever transgression there was. You also expect the players and club to back them and support them 100% for doing so. Accpet what happened, put it past them and drive forward. Until the Cotchin's own what happened, it's going to keep being an unwanted distraction to the club.
Did he? Pretty sure this snippet only leaked after the story wouldn't die. Whether he did or not at the time, we don't know. It certainly wasn't made public.a wag got a haircut accidentally, hubby offered to pay straight away.
Your impersonation of Eddie McChins in this thread, from the beginning, is something to behold.isnt that it?

His hypocrisy is truly a sight to behold. Incredible.Bang, there we have it. Eddie says he was “misconstrued, as usual”. Poor Ed.
Yep, Eddie would be a dead set natural as a politician. His hypocrisy is truly a sight to behold. Incredible.
