Raoul has really gone full gonzo on this one
Loving Raoul "Haymakers" Juke's session yesterday.
There are chairs smashed all around him, tables kicked over, some body shaped holes in the walls.
The bar took a few hits and the waitresses are gaping mouths open and not moving.
Even the band stopped playing just to watch him take on all comers

I though the AFL media department was meant to be independent of the AFL management?

But for now, Trent and Brooke really should follow Buckley's lead.

Richmonds greatest ever captain act like collingwoods *smile* coach?

Now if that aint the most cockamaimy thing i ever heard?

Its gone nuts in here. I get it with people in lock down and doing it tough.

But its nuts. Woman makes mistake in mental times when noone knows the rules?

So shes on Instagram? Hello, shes a 20 something. And as if she posts stuff she knew was breaking the rules. Shes not dumb, she married richmonds greatest ever captain.

That takes some nous.

Lay off

Mitch Cleary stood down for re-tweeting the incriminating photo. The Gilstapo out in force. Brooke's little trip has had quite the knock on effect.
So Mitch Cleary re-tweeted something that was the truth, and public knowledge.......Gil is now operating `a la the Trump playbook.

Nah, most cockamaimy thing in this thread were those blasting any players that wanted to stay back in Melbourne for personal reasons.

One second you're saying she's a 20-something on Social Media so forgive her. - Sounds like a line Eddie would use if a Collingwood player posted a *smile* pick on Instagram for the world to try and see

Everyone was well briefed on the rules, hammered into them. I'm sure before they let the families go up they again gave them fairly detailed and repeated warnings about what could and culdn't be done.

She either forgot, which counters your "she's not dumb line" or she took a calculated gamble that she wouldn't get caught or be punished, which she lost badly.

Either way her delibverate actions followed by posting them on Social Media to get free services landed the club a $20k fine, bad press when we didn't need it, who knows what sort of morale/mood changer it's been in the camp, so she and the Skip need to own it. Simple really.

To make it worse it looks like RFC pressured the AFL to keep the said pic out of the public eye if at all possible and now one of AFL Media's better Journos, Mitch Cleary has been stood down. That story in itself will keep the whole RFC/Brooke saga in the spotlight even longer.

What would a "Richmond Man" do when they let the team down? We'd all expect them to stand up and own whatever transgression there was. You also expect the players and club to back them and support them 100% for doing so. Accpet what happened, put it past them and drive forward. Until the Cotchin's own what happened, it's going to keep being an unwanted distraction to the club.

Did he? Pretty sure this snippet only leaked after the story wouldn't die. Whether he did or not at the time, we don't know. It certainly wasn't made public.

Your impersonation of Eddie McChins in this thread, from the beginning, is something to behold.

Meanwhile the Carlton player who dropped the kids of to the Grandparents, then took them to *smile* movie world is not getting *smile* against their name. Those Grandparents are the ones who should be getting the social *smile* kicked out of them over her IMO. That is an insanely arrogant thing to do, Brookes was just careless & from what i can tell, the "do's/dont's" are quite vague.

Old people taking kids to a amusement park - then those kids being put in the same play centre of other kids - come on now....

To make matters clear, i would have preferred Brooke not to have done this - but she has and i think the idea that people are required to apologise to the "public" is one of the most mundane, pointless and pathetic characteristics of the social media era. Empty promises followed by empty apologies, followed by pointless #tags..., Why do we crave it? Why do we demand it? Who the *smile* are we to care?

Again, i am working in a building where hundreds of people share common spaces, toilets, evelators, kitchens, desk etc etc etc with next to no accountability. The money being made from this organisation is comparable to that at risk of the AFL. Their employee numbers far exceed those of the AFL situation so the level of social risk is far greater. There is zero logic. I don't really get why a woman who went to a facial place, which would BY FAR be the cleanest, most sterile of all the breaches is being targeted more than the others. She stuffed up, along with a dozen others yet she is the only one named and shamed. I don't get what made her case so special?

If i were the players, I would just go home. *smile* it. Its not worth your family possibly being public named and shamed for this *smile*. That is an insane consequence. I'd support any player that chose to just leave now - then all these "members" will have a freaking cow over that.

We want players and their entire family to be accountable to us, where the truth is their key priority should just be to each other. No way would i put my wife through this *smile*. Being an AFL players wife sounds like a shitful job - Cotch & his family by default have done more than enough for me to beleive they have a truckload of runs on the board to make a small mistake without having to bend over and spread their cheeks for the members with "public apology", paying an inflated fine for NOT breaking the law etc etc etc.

IF the club wants, they can sack cotch. Stand him down. They wont though, as its a dumb consequence. Smart move.

IF the AFL wants, they could just expell the player and his family from the hub. They wont though, as without the stars the fact they are running a half assed competition in the middle of a pandemic will become blatantly obvious. The product has already been watered down to a point where it's laughable.

It was good to see Cotch has offered to pay the fine himself... IMO this shows the mans integrity. Love Cotch.

How do you accidently get a haircut? Did the body scrub and lotioning happen accidentally too?

Then she slipped and accidentally posted to the 'gram?
