Trent Cotchin (Merged)

Pretty sure the skip has another 2 years on his contract after this season. He's selfless enough to walk away from that for the benefit of the club if it's time to pull up stumps prematurely is captain courageous. Tross and Chimp leaving while is a huge loss may well save us from descending like other recent successful clubs such as the Dawx. If so time to go after Zach Merrett IMO

Hate to say the same Baloo but was going to type the same thing.
On the edge and giving away free kicks ( high tackles). Angry.
Need a little bit more from you skipper.
Two more games.

This.

The sloppy high tackles were really noticeable tonight.

Tonight, for the first time, I started thinking that time has caught up with Chimp. He's had average games before but tonight there was something about his game that really worried me.

Two more monster efforts please Chimp.
Yeah thought the same. He looked slow and his kicking was terrible. Struggling to recall him playing a worse game; maybe the 2015 EF. Anyway we will need him at his best next week if we are going to make another GF. Come on Cotch you can lift!

Does he now have the outright captaincy career or is that next week? Whatever; it has been an outstanding career and we are privileged to have witnessed it:clap2

He was as bad as Pickett and Pickett didnt touch it after half time.
Cotchins decision making is his one wood, tonight he was horrible with his decision making.

We've been coddling him. Because hamstrings. Consequently, he's not fit. Hence, Burge insisted he run the game out.

The game hasn't gone past him. He's just fat. Like a few others. They needed the run.

I reckon this is right.

Compared to how well he played in the first 2/3 of the season, he looks sluggish and slow and almost like he's been managed in game.

That tackle was terrible and really think we could be without him next week. Really disappointed in the chimp.

What a beat up this thread is. Two more games WTF!!!

If he wants he has another 80 in him. Roll him to half back and can be AA again.

Thought Leysy's work in this thread was done after only he and a couple of PRE soldiers withstood the onslaught of calls to take the captaincy off him in 15/16'.

Looks like might need to step back in.
