Draftee's first day
Samson Ryan and Maurice Rioli Jr joined the first to fourth year players for the first time.
Watching the highlight reel of Maurice Rioli senior, it was comical to see a plodder like Tony Shaw in the same frame a couple of times........ and it really was just a frame, maybe two frames before Maurice was gone like he just caught a ride in the Tardis.
It gives me an idea for a new Warner Bros cartoon where you take Wylie Coyote out and get Elma Fudd to play the part trying to catch the Road Runner.
Just goes to show though, Tony Shaw for all his plodding is a premiership player, and Maurice for all his silk and briliance on Grand Final day 82' missed out.

The young crop look incredibly fit and AFL ready already. What a time to be a Richmond fan.
Dow looked like a potential A-grader last year, he‘s one who hopefully shows more signs this preseason. Martyn and Ralphsmith sound exciting too.
Would this be Jack Graham’s first full preseason since U16’s (touch wood)? Coming into his 5th year off the back of a sharp performance increase in year 4 following injuries, it would be great if he becomes capable of more than we’ve grown accustomed to.
MRJ looks like a Richmond type already.
Then there’s Bolton/Balta/Baker... I’m not even trying and I can easily pluck out a stack of names with potential.

They showed the Geelong kid that hasn't touched a footy in 2 years.
They showed Taylor Adams miss a 15 pass.
They showed the doggies with the plastic buddy.
They interviewed Mitchell at hawthorn.
They even showed Melbourne.
They interviewed Hannebury.
