Who holds the record for most games played and coached for no flags?
Figgy. I think he took over that record a season or two ago from Ross Lyon.
Actually, googling while trying to find the answer, I think he’s also the holder , or close to, a few more records.
Most seasons played/coached without a flag - this season is his 25th ( Ross Lyon 24)
Most games coached at one club without a flag - currently at 209 games. The record is 228 games by Ted Whitten. This one unfortunately he might not get to cherish as he would need to coach at least 1 finals game this season to equal it

Sier got subbed for gastro? wasn't aware of this. Are the media talking about collingwood rorting the medical sub rule?

Only;y one side has been pilloried for it since round 1, and said player is still unavailable.

Not to mention one of the key players for the side whom would never be subbed off unnecessarily.

PIES SWOOP ON 202CM RECRUIT

Collingwood has signed another tall AFL prospect from overseas, landing Bassirou Faye, an 18-year-old, 202cm Senegalese basketballer.

The Pies, who famously brought American forward Mason Cox onto its list via the International Rookie system in 2014, have reportedly secured the signature of Faye, who impressed in summer trials with the Oakleigh Chargers before returning to Senegal due to visa constraints, AFL Media reports.

Faye was pushing for a basketball career before switching his goal to football late last year, with former AFL forward Tyrone Vickery putting Faye through a two-month training program at the start of this year.

The report details Faye is expected to return to Australia within the next month, before completing a two-week quarantine period and hopefully being granted league approval to play in the 2021 NAB League season.

Drawing a pretty long bow, probably hadn't even seen a footy until this year. Collingwood, desperate to stay in the news.

Great table...thanks.

Whereabouts does Dimma sit further down the table?

Six places behind Buckley, 464-207-257-5 flags. Passed Reg Hickey & will equal Checker Hughes and reach half Sheedy's total next week. Adam Simpson ahead of him on 471.

Tony Jewell (219-80-139-2 flags) has the fewest games for premierships as both player and coach.

Thanks...great work!

It certainly looked odd. Were they on the bench after they got the phones?
Not sure if they were. Don't think I noticed them, but both injured so possibly getting medical attention.

But I was going to post at the time that I thought this was a really bad look. So often, if not too badly hurt/concussed. you see players usually watching and therefore still supporting the team from the bench. Instead these two grabbing their phones so they can contact family and friends. Understandable to an extent, but smacks of it all being 'about me'; not the team.

I forgot all about it being a rule breach. Didn't say it last night as I thought I might seem to be being petty. However, I would have been quite disappointed if I saw two of ours' doing this.

Can see Hocking letting them off with a warning but by gee, the next player that does it will be heavily punished
