WEEK 1 FINALS 2021

Dangerfield is clearly not a great player. Great players perform in finals.
He cost them 3 goals.
The King and Healy went after a pensioner 45k defender in Henderson but missed giving it to Dangerfield, 3 mistakes 3 goals to port. (The kick across ground, the butter fingers and the worse hand ball since castagna's hand ball in the 2017 Preliminary final)
Selwood was worse, the fat prick? Unless he gets silver service he is useless. Cameron was jogging around in a final because he was shitt scared he would ping another hammy and Smith and Duncan who's the biggest jibber??
I agree with Healy, that loss was far worse then any other loss they have had. They were torn apart.
Pressure and desire dismantled Scott's pathetic game plan.

6-14 finals record as captain. Joel Selwood.

Real questions about Dangerfield the finals footballer.

A second round pick on Shaun Higgins & Issac Smith robbing Jordan Clark of games.

This will cost them Narkle & Clark. Zero quality youth then. Cliff meet Geelong.
who ever is coaching them after Scott leaves will be worse then the disaster left over for Wallce when Frawley got the ass.
Massive rebuild.
Partiff isn't quality, Miers god help me shouldnt be playing
Henry is up and down?
What other kids???
Scott will leave Geelong like Fitzroy

It certainly was refreshing to see 'chip, chip' get torn to shreds in the finals.
Beautiful
But were the 'chip chip' kicks paid marks? 90% of Geelong's kicks struggled to go 10 metres.
Maybe Hocking should introduce a rule, you cant kick backwards

Port look like us except they have no champion key forwards or champion defenders or GOATs. What they have is elite kicks all over the park, which we've never had.

Burton and Bonner are softer than Jayden Short, but they're better kicks. McKenzie and Whatshisname the skipper are 6'2 key defenders but Aliir saves their arses and McKenzie has a cannon of a leg. Houston's a great kick, Amon's a great kick, Marshall's a great kick, so are Georgiades, Motlop, Rozee, Gray and Fantasia. None of them are bad kicks, at least not as diabolical as George, or KMac and Marlion at times.

Like us, they play with speed and pressure, but they move the ball streets better by foot.

You forgot Boak's kicking for goal. Unreal kick, Dusty like.

David King just said the same thing, how they capitulated to our chaos game the last 2 times.
I think though old Kingsight picked the cats to win every time they played us in a final. Who did kingsight tip last night?

love the salt coming out of Geelong.

Chris Scott reckons it was uncharacteristic. what could go wrong did go wrong.

I've got some free advice for him - pressure kills in finals. Geelong's structured model of play wilts like hot butter in the face of manic pressure and chaotic movement.

Port look a lot like us.

Geelong have found another dose of kryptonite in their quest for glory. And Port are every bit as hungry as we were in 2017.
Yes it’s not that I prefer one club to another but I just want to see a side playing contested footy win it.
To me the two sides left in finals who play the most contested brand are Port and Melbourne and the ones who play the chip uncontested game are Geelong, bulldogs and the swans.
I reckon the giants and bombers are also a big chance this weekend

Just extend the distance. Make it 20-25m before a mark is paid. Much harder to play keepings off then.
They would still pay Geelongs.
How about Ryans kick against us?
There needs to be a massive overhaul of the umpires.
Simply every week they make these ridiculous decisions and they wake up the next morning to cricket's. It's a joke.
Bring back 'what's you decision??"
If i had cash i would buy a 1/2 hr slot on Fox or 7mate and just spend half a hour highlighting the blatant ones they miss.
And have a score board for the best and worse umpires.
IF YOU DON'T HIGHLIGHT IT, THEY WILL CONTINUALLY GET AWAY WITH IT.

Gosh, 28 pages of posts and we aren't playing! TLDR; I was hoping Geesook would lose and then lose again to Sydney/GWS. We have their first round draft pick. And there strategy of bringing in geriatrics to win a flag is a huge Fail.

Wasn't all that fussed about the game last night. Tuned in to the first quarter and couldn't believe the biased umpiring against Port.

Geelong got away with murder last night. The margin shouldve been over 70.
But the influence of hocking on the umpires was all there to see.
*The Rozeee hit front on?
*The in the back paid against wines on Dangerfield.
*Bews holding up play and no 50
*Cameron high hit on the Arrow
*Hawkins double hand push in the back
*Shithouse and Selwood's rugby passes in the 2nd qtr.
*Stanley constantly jumping before the ball was in the air
*Dixon getting frontal contact.

Rozee is like a 6 foot Josh Jenkins

Dixon is a humungous potato. He's everything Tom Lynch isn't.

plus Ladmans only really had one good year.

Max and Jackson will demolish them.
I love the Rozee comparison. He looked so good in his first year but he should be name Ezee, he doesn’t really like to work for a living.
I would hate Dixon to win a flag, what a fraud. How many times does he go one handed in a contest or look for a free? Flat track bully, will barely get a touch on May. Dixon had 10 Disposals last night and kicked a point but got so much praise from the moron commentators for competing. He’s a giant who plays like a fairy when it matters.
Ladhams is a spud, Marshall has some talent but still inconsistent.
Butters is a star and spook nailed it about their elite kicking. And they have speed to bring pressure. And they had Henderson to fall back on, he was better for Port than Dixon.

I read that Gary Rohan was playing in defence.
Sounds like a master coach move from Salty Scott
Guessing it would have been a bigger loss otherwise
They had to move him somewhere to get a kick.

I never listen to anything Brayshaw says if I can avoid it. But the umps allowing players to get away with this like Bews did, just infuriates me.
If it was us it wouldve been 100, for even less time.
You sway to left too much ob the mark they pay a 50, but Geelong players can hold the ball, and not hand it back for 3-5 seconds and it's all fine.

Seriously
How many times do you need to take this clown into September to watch him do jack *smile*??
He had the Mr Missing tag when he left Sydney, 4 years later we are still shocked he dosent go near it as soon as it ticks into September.
What's Dalhouse excuse?
Duncan's and Smith??

He has some real
mental issues with finals. He needs an Emma Murray type. He almost freezes. He’s not alone at the cats.

My thoughts too. Cannot stand Cats and Bulldogs styles.
Port v Melb in WA would be a good spectacle.
