Training today Monday, (they head off to their Bright training camp tomorow):

Firstly, it was hot out there.

Not there today:

Dusty
Samson Ryan
JNR
RCD
Parker
Marlion

Full Rehab:

Prestia
Lynch
Kmac??, (saw him briefly with rehab but then left not sure if injured or just being managed??)

Back

Cumberland and trained fully with main group up forward

Progress

Lambo : 60% rehab 40% drills today, (made a brief comment that he is getting there).
Graham: Only did a couple of early warm up drills and then left, (but my diagnosis of hammy i am told was incorrect so that is a plus).
Brown: Back to maybe 50% drills.
Sonz: Now less time in rehab than drills but have not seen enough to give an opinion yet.

Casualty of the day:

Sam Banks: Pulled up like he had been shot reached for where the hammy meets the glutes and went straight over to the physios.

Line Setups today, (that i can remember anyway:unsure:):

Forwards:
Whether or not it is because Lynch , Samson not there but Noah again forward with Jack/Shai/Syd/Clarke/Caddy/George/Bake/Cumberland.

Backs: Biggie/Miller/Tarrant/Gibcus/Broad/Grimes/Rioli/Short/Brown/Mansel/Tigga

Mids : Nank Soldo Cotch Shedda Dow Ross Aarts occasionally Shai.

Wing: Hugo

**(bare in mind all those not present)

Great to read Chimper back out there.

Reckon the Champ will surprise a few this year (as Champions do) who were already chalking his retirement down.

Thanks Caesar.

Who was the person who made that call re: Gibcus?

Could we potentially play Balta as a 3rd mobile tall. He can get up the ground. Would be a huge handful for defenders.

Gibcus / Miller might give us this flexibility.

Terrible bad luck for Sam Banks to do a hammy the day before their camp in Bright.
Know how important the bonding experience is to the young developing players

Great work as always. It is rather concerning the same players getting injured the last few preseasons. Mid field is really starting to become a worry

I wouldn't pay too much notice about my hammy diagnosis after being wrong on Graham ;) . Banks did pull up short though.

Yes a worry but the other side if we get more games into RCD and Ross it would be a good thing long term

I reckon our fortunes in 2022 rest on the health and fitness of Cotchin, Lambert, Prestia & Edwards. Hope i'm wrong but feel the kids are not ready to step up and indeed may never have the quality to do so.
