Hope Caesar enjoyed his holidays.
Nose back to the grindstone now mate
I have bought a one way ticket to Darwin for the 10th Feb to do some Barra fishing so there will be a couple of weeks of silence from me.

I need a 6cm upgrade to this 94cm catch, ( from my last trip in 2017), to join the metre club.

Who gets married on a Wednesday?
Australia Day! Might be more chance of people getting there in these weird Covid times. Might help the groom remember the anniversary in the future too

I got married on my birthday. Sure makes remembering easy. And yes, I've heard it all before about on the wedding night I thought all my birthdays had come at once :ROFLMAO:

You're married and get a root?
There are plenty of very knowledgeable posters on PRE and I wonder if anyone knows the origin of the term "root"?
Reason I ask is I was telling a joke to a Yank (who has become a great mate), and I referred to "root" as part of telling the joke.
He asked "what does root mean?" I explained what it was but couldn't answer his next question about why we call it that.

Any thoughts?

'Rooting' refers to the act of planting a seed

To 'root'...Slang...refers to doing the dirty deed...getting down and dirty...like hungry pigs with their loud snorting and rooting up noises when foraging/eating for food...

Ok have amended my non spotted list and added one to it :

Samson Ryan
Parker
Dusty
Prestia
JNR
RCD

**Ps I have added Riley to the list as I only had a back of head shot in day 1 pics and thought i could tell by the ears but as I haven't seen him in day 2 shots I'll reserve my judgement.

Today, (Tuesday), was basically just a warm down session despite TV crews being there to see Dusty's big return to contact work, (they didn't get it :) ), but I reported here Dusty was doing contact work before they headed off to camp :clap2 .

Anyway as i said it wasn't what I would call training but all the above camp absentee's were present amongst the group today.

Not worth commenting who was doing something and who was not I'll leave that till Thursday.

Which is why I laughed at Cornhead's and Mitch Cleary's (?) comments on SEN this morning.
