Heard that mental giant David Schwarz discussing “good wholesome sports stars you could take home to mum”:

Bontempelli: “Ah The Bont, beautiful person.”

Petracca: “Ah Christian, beautiful young man.”

Gawn: “Aww Big Maxy, his bald head might scare but he’s a beautiful fella.”

Robbie Flower: “Ah bless him, beautiful man.”

Cotchin: “No, not that’s he’s done anything but there’s just something about him, I reckon he might be capable of something.”

The Bronte sisters: “ Ah, beautiful girls”……
Cotchie mustve been doing something right to survive his first and then all subsequent knocks on "TITS" Kennedy's front door !!!!!

Sadly, he's still bitter from Dimma reminding people that he cried. But crying doesn't make him a girl, it's perfectly okay for him to cry.

I mean, I myself cried when I read his comments just now lol... there's nothing wrong with a few tears! :ROFLMAO:

Going to be so strange seeing Cotch run out without the captaincy this year.

The big question is does he get better without the responsibility, injury free & one more chance at success..or does he struggle & have his spot in the team put under threat by a raft of hungry, developing youngsters?

Last season was a pretty tough one for Cotch. He's looked a touch slow with the new rules speeding the game up but he was injured too.

I hope he finishes in a blaze of glory or at least with a solid season but it won't surprise if he struggles a little.

Time will tell. Fingers crossed for our champ.

You'd hope that without the Captaincy he gets more time to recover from niggles and injuries. We haven't seen any of the kids get close to Chimp's Beast Mode that turns matches around for us.

I'm predicting less games played, but higher output in those games than we saw last year.

Theres only been one player in 25 years gets close to chimps ball hunting hunched back beast mode.(when i say gets close, i mean equal close)

It is no coincidence he captained 3 flags too. hodge wasnt a shrinking violet, but wasnt chimp and voss's equal in this measure.

No kids gonna ever come close.

Ever. Even chimp didnt come close when he was a kid.

The epitome of 'see ball, get ball' player
Young Cotch was a sublimely skilled player
Older Cotch was ruthless in getting first to the footy
Best inside/outside player ever played
Brownlow says so
Three Premierships says so
Captaincy says so
Best haircut says so
