Barrett on the Sunday Footy Show said that snicko doesn’t work that far up the goal post.

If that’s the case then it’s amateur hour once again at AFL house.

Who does Barratt work for again? Oh, that's right, the AFL. Well, idiot, why don't you lot do something about it then?

And then the one time he was confident, the field umpire overruled and asked for a review. Way to build the bloke’s confidence in his abilities.

That was one of the most absurd ARC referrals I have ever seen. The ball wasn't touched with the end of someone's fingernails, it was well and truly whacked by the hand. No-one behind the goal could believe that this went to the ARC, it was such an obvious touch. The field umpire should have been able to see it was touched and the goal umpire clearly saw it was touched. No idea why that was referred, if the field umpire couldn't see that it was touched then they clearly don't have the faculties to be an umpire.

So, do coaches have the right to ask these questions?
Of course they do, but only in private so the AFL can feed them a load of irrelevant *smile*. Protect the umpires n system from their own incompetence n berate the fans for being rude.

The umpires incompetence and our inaccuracy has cost us a spot on the ladder.

Forget no-one behind the goal, no-one in the stadium thought it was touched bar that "look at me" field umpire.

Wanganeen didn't even celebrate at all as he knew it was touched, thats the 1st give away. Every player immediately setup for a behind and as they are doing that the peanut runs in and wastes another minute of everyones lives.

It’s quite a simple fix.
Any kicked ball that goes through the goal posts is a goal. Regardless if it’s touched or snicks the goal post.
Even if touched by a team mate? Would be funny to see forwards punching long kicks through for a goal.

Right, focus on the ladder after the season has finished. Makes sense…..

End of the home and away is obviously what I meant. Clearly 7th or 8th now is irrelevant but seems to have you perturbed for some reason.

Percentage obviously matters, and we’ve probably burnt 10-15 gimme goals this year which could well cost us top four given how tight the season is. If that’s your point then fair enough.

We,re 8th, I’d like us to be 7th and when we,re 7th I’d like us to be 6th and when we,re 6th I’d like us to be 5th and so on because the higher up the ladder the better you’re chance of winning finals. It’s not a tricky concept. Why does it perturb you I want us as high on the ladder as possible?

Bummers supporters for you.
A bit of a worry when the footy 'fans' start acting like the thugs in UK end of season football. Anyone who watched the news of the violence in UK grounds will realise that the out of control numpties will ruin a sport that is essentially a family spectator sport for the majority.

When should I focus on it? That’s like asking why one focuses on the score in the first quarter.
Not at all. Whether we are 7th or 8th on the ladder by a fractional percentage as at round 10 is pointless.

I always wondered what audience channel 7 were targetting their pointless live ladder at, now I know.

Maybe the police can take action.
Arrest Steve *smile* hocking, pepper scott and Gill for formenting public unrest and conspiracy to cause affray.
Put the umpires (respectfully) on notice that they’re next
