Brisbane v Richmond September 1

We'll be right, mate.

So, who's going and where are we meeting pre-game?

I’m going to be getting to the ground around 6:30-7:00 Spook.

Buy you a beer when u get there.

We are row U seats 172-175.

Shows great confidence going in with Ross, Miller, Cumbo, MoJu, Sonz, Gibcus all in their first final.

Lyons is a slug but a big body and better than anything they can bring in.

Yes pretty brave going with all the young blokes in Gibcus, Sonz, Cumberland, Miller and MJ a danger of inexperience costing, (nah), but what an experience and boon for their development regardless of result, I like it.

for all intensive purposes they've been playing Elimination finals the past few games

i reckon the kids will be primed for it

I assume they want to get 3 finals games into them before selecting them for the Grand Final

With the Lions lack of quality talls down back, I wouldn't be surprised if Miller has a career best game.

Huge. Hardwick in transition mode is not Conservativewick that's for sure. I agree, its brave, a huge show of faith in the next gen, and I like it too regardless of result.

For some though, it will only be about the result, win he's a genius, lose and he should be sacked for taking too much inexperience into a final.

Let's hope we don't give them a head start as the previous 1st half at the G as it's on their ground and their crowd now. Going by what Dimma said, I wouldn't be surprised we sub Duz if we've sealed the win.

My only criticisms of Hardwick (and the selection committee) over the last two seasons have been conservatism and history over form.

I'd say a lot are in the same boat.

The beauty of these selections is that they are both progressive, and unbiased. Form irrespective of standing, with an eye to the future.

Regardless of what happens, surely no one could be upset.

We could consider the ifs and buts of Edwards and Graham, but one will be the sub, and the other would be replacing someone worthy.

Over to you boys!

I'd like nothing better than a repeat of 5 weeks ago. That game snapped us into another gear. If we have more gears, it would be nice to move to them tomorrow.

I am wrapped that Sonsie, Rioli and Ross hold their spots, good for them, good for their future and their confidence to take over as the next generation.
