Yeah, I heard his voice as I was switching around and kept on switching. I’d rather listen to 774 than Kane.
Read somewhere we have one of the least amounts of imports on our list in the comp. You never hear him sook about Carlton that has like 18 or whatever. His criteria seems to be as long as it’s Richmond it’s bad.
The opposite. I love listening to this train wreck. He’s carrying on as if we don’t deserve to win another flag for a while because we have already won 3. Its hilarious.

And if we discount caddy now he’s off the list we have four. I’d argue that’s pretty low comp wide which means we invest very heavily in the draft including rookies. So on a comparable basis we do less in the FA and trade markets than most teams in the comp

Same. love hearing him get upset when a caller gets the better of him. He just cuts them off half the time.
He is capable of making some good points but his deliberately provocative schtick wears thin at times.
I heard him a couple of weeks ago on a Friday morning introduce the NRL segment (can't recall who they were interviewing) and he said its the start of NRL finals week - I think it was Kingy who picked up that there was 2 rounds to go. It was a good example of someone who isn't a proper sports fan in a way. Clearly not interested in the NRL. How could he host a sports show and not know that? He wants to be Australia's Skip Bayless but you gotta know some basics about major sports.
I can't stand him. Why is he getting so much air time and why is he considered an expert?
Last week on crunch time they went to a discussion about the ARC fiasco. His first comment was they got the right decision but went about it the wrong way. And then moved on? No backing up the statement, but it basdically led & informed the discussion so it wasn't about the farudulent and potentially corrupt decision but more about the process. And no one actually said, hey Sam, where is the proof it was a behind? It was almost like they decided before the show to discuss it and sound genuine about it but lets not demand the AFL show the footage and hold them accountable. Only those not on the AFL teat (such as Grant Thomas) have trried to hold the AFL accountable.
On the Couch was worse. G Lyon basically said they aren’t allowed to discuss it, raised his eyebrows at Riewoldt who raised his back and they both smirked - like they’d been told not to go there.
To be fair though, everyone on SEN is like that. Tim Watson said yesterday that footy is the best sport in the world. I’m sure many people on PRE agree with this, but it’s not the point. SEN is supposed to be a sports station, not an AFL station.
