I can’t see Syd and his attitude getting along too well with Ross.Actually forgot Lyon was there. He might put a rocket under him.
Hopefully the penny has dropped. be great to see him reach his full potential in football.
BullaintsHas Sydney Stack started training with the Aints yet ?
Harsh. He has already achieved his full potential.
Word on the street is that he hasn't and won't.Has Sydney Stack started training with the Aints yet ?

Thats a shame , He probably would have played at HB and that would have been his chance to make it as a AFL playerWord on the street is that he hasn't and won't.

what a wasted opportunity
Im not sure of details, or why it was reported he was training there, but Im guessing it was his choice not to- whether that was a direct or indirect choice.Thats a shame , He probably would have played at HB and that would have been his chance to make it as a AFL player

I think I read somewhere that a friend of his said he’d had enough of living in Melbourne and wasn’t likely to go back anytime soon. It probably suits him to be living in WA, and going out and having a kick on the weekend in a lower league. He’s had a go at AFL and made a pretty good fist of it, but for one reason or another couldn’t sustain it. That may be enough for him.Im not sure of details, or why it was reported he was training there, but Im guessing it was his choice not to- whether that was a direct or indirect choice.

Yeah Stack needs to go back to the WAFL, SANFL or the VFL and find some form, work on his game and if he can get his motivation where it needs to be then in a year or 2 he will get another chance - he is young enough and good enough.
Stengal has shown a path for him to follow.
Agree.Exactly, the lad is still a baby and has plenty of time to get there, and is coming from what sounds like the most challenging of starting points.
Don't really get the chips at our moved on players, whether Stack or CCJ or Griffiths or Vickery or anyone. Hope they all do well at whatever they do.
