Round 1 Best 22 (23). No easy task...

Curnow alone in the top 50 would leave our man in his dust.
But i guess we dont clear out of the 50.
We'd keep our structure and play at least Grimes as a loose.

Their forwards would sit in no mans land and Grimes would intercept all night long.

Broady and Flossy would cover 3 bloos.
The Prince Rioli would carve them up recieving from Grimey and running it uo the ground

I see a few have left Shorty out. He has muscled up looks great. Not gunna go down without a fight the Premiership B n F winner

Sounds good hope springs eternal. Slice it anyway but I have no confidence that our man, at this point in his career, could hold Curnow.

The Carlton tall forwards Mackay & Curnow struggle against us.
Its the smalls that do they damage Martin, Fisher
Tarrants best game was on Mackay before he broke his hand

B: Grimes Tarrant Broad
HB: Vlastuin Balta DRioli
C: Pickett Taranto McIntosh
HF: Bolton Riewoldt Martin
F: MRioli Lynch Cumberland
R: Nankervis Hopper Prestia
I: Cotchin Baker Short Miller
S: Ross

Beat that team. Looks like the Sonz starts in the 2s if everyone's fit. Him or Cumbo. Graham to work into it off the toe.

Bloke should've stayed at GWS, he has been cursed the minute he walked through those shiit doors.

**P.S I Don't mind him, he bent Collingwood over in the preliminary in 19

Assuming they are all fit, that is our rd1 team.

No change.
That’s exactly how I’d line them up

Pretty clear to me. 22 starting players incorporating 4 on the bench. You can replace any of that 22, at any time (doesn’t have to be an injury) via a substitute named before the game.

Just need to be wary that if you make a substitution without injury, and then someone goes off permanently, you’re playing with 21 and not 22.
Like when we''d bring on the 19th or 20th man at three quarter time.

Looks a bit thin down back with no Tarrant.

Big differ on JR. He no longer has the speed and I suspect the physical capability to play his best footy as a CHF.
I wouldn’t play him there just because we have no one else or because we have no other position for him.

I’d play him in the position to which he is now best suited!

We differ on Tarrant. Has been a great player in his day but imo wasn’t anywhere near that last year. Prefer others now.
Suspect Young may come under consideration early.
