It's tough. Ross has taken Pickett's wing spot. Imo only 1 of Pickett or Kmac should be playing. Or if both go, who takes the other wing? Do we just bite the bullet and play a youngster (I don't honestly know who that would be), Ralphsmith maybe. We have a lot of gaps of upcoming quality in our list atm.

He may still be capable of a goal or two, but he is often costing another 4/6 going the other way. Opponents just running off him for frequent rebound 50s

That's my biggest concern as well. Jack's lost his ground-ball skills, and is incapable of stopping his opponent running off him so easily.

If we tried to counteract pointless sideways kicks in the backline we would have had no chance, it's not our game plan, we're not setup for that gameplan. We setup behind the ball. As I said, they kicked 2 goals in a half, we had their game plan under control. We lost it in the last with diabolical disposal and decision-making.

You mustnt have been watching too close. It wasn’t “pointless sideways kicks” they executed, it was the way they inched their way up the ground that allowed them to have a) not just more time in possession but b) almost the same amount of inside 50’s as us and c) more shots on goal.

That’s hardly having their game plan under control !

And that’s an indictment on us for allowing a crap team like that to do that to us.
