Tackles I50 are not a good measure of our success. We have evolved every year, but the media constantly talks about us based upon the way we played in 2017.
Eg. last year our scores from D50 I'm pretty sure rocketed up.

The new rules are a massive reason. Lack of pressure on the ball carrier. Easier to move the ball, more options for the kicker. Add it to an horrific injury list and you have a perfect storm. The margins are small and enough to change the balance.
We worked on scores from turnover not i50 tackles. Where are we on scores from turnover this year?
Theres something wrong with that table. How can our average be less than all the others when we have recorded more tackles I50 and have played the same games.
Ie. we have all played 15 games, Gold Coast 131/15 = 8.7. It shows we have 154/15 = 10.3
Weird that the total numbers are also different between the AFL app and footywire.
