One of Edwards, Prestia and Vloss would be a bonus. We will need to make two replacements. Rohan (out last week, might back this week), Cameron (out - hamstring) and Hawkins destroyed our defense last time. Grimes did not play that game. We played one very good half, one terrible half in that game. If we are to play finals with all the cards against us in 2021, we need to knock off the cats. What a stage for Parker to put his hand up for 2022!

According to the injury report Vlastuin is not available as he is still trying to shake off bad corkies. Talls who are probable are Miller (I know I am on his case), Astbury and CCJ

won’t happen but I have had enough of George and Aarts giving us nothing as forwards. Gone on too long . Baker, Sheds, Bolton can rotate forward and Caddy to play as an inside mid, resting forward at times

Garth and Dave stays. Im in the minority in being OK with Garth getting another crack. Geelong move the ball slooooooow and I suspect Garth has enough wheels to stop Rohan?

I have doubts. Especially against the Cats if they have Cameron playing. We will struggle to match up on Hawkins/Cameron/Rohan without the full backline compliment to choose from.
As much as I love Balta, he is one we can afford to have out.
Broad on the other is a key to our defence, and helps turn it from a good unit to a great one. (And Vlastuin).
And yes those mids are also key to our ability to both attack and defend.
We know there are 2 forced outs. We know Shedda will come in so it's really between a handful of blokes for the other spot.
Do they reward Ross given his improved game last week?
Do they bring in the experienced bigger body of Caddy?
Do they take another look at Martyn or RCD?
Ralphsmith has shown run and poise - could he get a call up?
Surely they wont go for Naish?
They won't drop anyone as they will want the continuity and experience (especially against the Cants) so Aarts and George survive again.
I reckon Ross gets the nod.
