Drives me nuts. Doesn't help when the ball is just bombed in there as well.joegarra said:a 6 man forward line might score 100+ points(sick of seeing Jack battle against 2 opponents)

If he wants to increase scoring the first thing Damien needs to do is ditch the plus 1 every minute of the match.

when hardwick took over we cut loads of experienced dead wood. We gave loads of games to young men, while inexperienced and underdeveloped (physically) we surround them with experienced hard bodies.
Now those bodies are developed and experienced we recruited young kids with x factor who will now need to be developed and gain experience.

No wonder Beanie n Donuts n Elton John n Bikkies n Dea n Darrou n all them others couldn't get games. Wonder why Stevie M n Milesy n Lambert get so many games. Errr Derrr.Carter said:only first round draft picks.

On performance when they got elevated to seniors? Nuh.Carter said:You don't think Lennon, McBean or Elton deserved more opportunities? Interesting. But not surprising :hihi

Lennon got a fair slice of opportunities, while his performances held up he got games. When his performances tapered he went back to the magoos to ease the pressure n work load on him, with instructions as to the areas he needed to work on to improve his all round performance, as is usual for a young developing player.
Beanie has to work his way past Jaaack, Vickery, Griff in that order to establish a senior career. On his few appearances so far, I'd say he's ahead of Stevie M. Unfortunately for Beanie he's the wrong size n type of player to replace Stevie.
Carter said:Lennon was consistently ignored in the first half of year when his form was good then amazingly dropped for the final when his form was hot.
He is the sort of player I feel will help turn games in finals for us. In finals those with silky skills come to the fore and are worth their weight in gold. I reckon Lennon will turn out to be a very good finals player for us over his career.antman said:he hadn't kicked a goal in his previous two games. He peaked in rounds 17 - 20 but his form dipped thereafter.
