There is so much love at Punt Road now we all must thank Bernie for the love approach. At the end of the 2016 season no love at Punt Road just angst. Bernie not to be deterred ventured overseas on a sabbatical & found the love approach which transformed the Tigers from boiled lollies to chocolates.

Credit to Brendan Gale for encouraging Dimma to change his plans post-season 2016. He was going to visit a top US sports team to see why they were successful but Brendan didn't think this would help him. He had seen Dimma working very hard, analysing all the game day stats, looking for answers that ultimately weren't in the figures. He told Dimma a short leadership course at Harvard would be greater value for him. Fortunately Dimma followed Gale's advice. So lucky to have smart people like Gale and Balme at our club...along with all the assistant coaches...where do you stop?

No, Tigaman, a painfully dogmatic handful like you thought this, but were clearly delusional. The majority of Tiger fans# remained true and loyal and were proven absolutely prescient with the amazing premiership in 2017. The fact we were not expected to even make the 8 coming from 13th, was amazing, but just shows how astute the true believers actually were.

Good onya Dimma you deserve it after so many other coaches failed. Those heartbreaking losses....most times people are habited to continue failing, but Dimma & co stuck fat and we got better.
