Have a listen to the crowd, outnumbering the giants on their home deck. First the yell of ballll then the Pickett goal, the roar was so loud
Good to win at Sydney Showgrounds too, our record there before today was 4 wins from 8 games.
Now we get a 6 day break, another interstate game, and we play a team with a long break. How's that work? Ok, so scheduling means we get 2 interstate games in a row with a short break, which I reckon should not be the case for any team (I do recall looking at this and a couple of other teams had the same) but to also get a team with a 14 day break is a bit rich.

Good to see 2 angles of that, on the first shot it looked like the GWS player was close to Marlion, but the behind the goal footage showed Marlion had good separation. One of those things which is so much harder to see when not at the game.

I always noticed this with past photos of our players after a win but still don't know if that 'hand on another player's leg' was some in-joke done by the players. Always laugh at it and now Hugo's learnt....
Not yet. He or Broad needed to take charge. I think Grimes was off getting his shoulder taped up. Same mistake happened last week with Balta and others watching it soccered through!

Thought Himmelberg went well today , I think we could fit him in down back , not sure he’d be our answer up forward though
GWS were cleaner in close than us all day. Easy to pick on individual plays but overall impression at ground level they were better
Balta was magnificent Everytime he was in the play felt confident he would win it
Our biggest weakness was dump kicks.
Himmelberg looked magnificent but I think we contributed to that. Although he can take a contested mark and appears good by foot

Make no mistake we lack clean skills especially in close. Can't get further than we are without a big overhaul in that department.
I thought baker changed the game with some of his flat kicks into the forward line.
And we can’t stick a tackle
So often they still managed to get the ball out, brushing off our tackles
He should be our next BIG target get ................. or Id take Sam Taylor also.
