Gameday - Tigers V Swans

Lemme see now.
There's annual leave days n I've got some saved up.
There's RDO's n I've got some saved up.
There's personal leave days, sickies n I've got some saved up.
Seeing as I'm already matured enough to be a decrepit old pensioner any time I want, why the hell shouldn't I take a leave day n give myself a long weekend once in a while??? Especially when I can use it to enable me to properly enjoy a stupid Thurs night game without having to get up early for work the next morning. Always thought leave days were for exactly that, taking leave and enjoying a break for whatever purposes suit your needs.

You're preaching to the choir. i have 1,324 Sick Leave hours which equates to 180 work days or 36 weeks. But if i was going to take a sickie and have a long weekend, i would prefer to head down to the Mornington Peninsula... and i tend to save those days for the warmer months.

Did Mini give Gulden votes? He was one of our bests. Turned it over at crucial stages.

Trouble with the peninsula in the warmer months is that it's choc full of *smile* tourists all trying to enjoy the sun n beaches, getting in the way n *smile* up the serenity.

After Q time we got a bit smarter with our ball use going i50m. Using the short pass rather than the long dump kick. It was better.
We just don't have the contested marking options up forward to continually blast it in.
Barrass frustratingly took a couple early but by game's end Barrass & McGovern only had 4 contested marks between them.
We changed things up. Tick.
Maybe there's something in it that Miller & Pickett's role is just to stop the opposition intercept markers from plucking the ball when it does come in. Rather than trying to mark it concentrate on bringing it to ground is a damn sight easier for non specialist forwards. Even an aging spearhead finds that an easier task for a hurried i50 sortie.
Missing Lynch is a huge hole to fill so smarter movement & tactics is exactly how we're going to have to play it.
