Unfortunately Geelong were way too good today.
I liked Selwoods speech, I thought it was quite humble and he will likely be retiring after this game, but the end was IMO the least humble think you can say. Everyone goes on about how hard it is to win a premiership and how much it means to them, to then through that "where it belongs line" cheapened his entire speech IMO.
Now its operation Grigga, he's helped those flogs get a Premiership, now lets rescue him from that dump and bring him back to PRO as a development coach alongside Lambo.

They gave him the medal at the last minute to hand over to Scott. They also had extra security guards around the place in case he tried to wander off to pawn it
At least Dangerfield, Hawkins or Sellwod didn't get the Norm Smith. It would have been non stop crowing

You call it stupidity to say he was gifted his first. But any astute observer who had a modicum of intellect would agree the team he inherited was chock full of talent. Premiers in 2007 and 2009. Lost GAJ, but the bulk of the team was intact.
