You said best forward, not best kick for goal.
Lynch's workrate is enormous. Cops the best defender every week. Triple teamed. Nearly won the Coleman.
Your statement was wrong so I pulled you up.
Nearly won a Coleman is pretty good.

Winning 3 is probably better.

The sooner Jack is replaced the better.

We need to look to the future.

Can we at least trial without him? Maybe we can go better?

We have a mid season pick. I hope we are scouring the country for an inform forward.
Country forwards are not the answer. They are playing in a country for a reason. And anyway, we've already got who we thought was the best country forward on our list.

Not sure why the pressure on Jack at the moment. He has kicked 5 goals 3 behinds to date. Lynch has 7goals six.

These days it is unlikely for a forward to kick 100 goals in a season.Give me 3 forwards that average 2 goals a game for the season anytime over the ton forward because the reliance on goals is spread more around if someone is injured.

Nope. He looked lost as a forward. It did not work. Set him back.

He can do the attacking things as a back, that’s the next evolution.

Lynch, Ryan/Jack, Cumbo, Martin as your talls and meds.

This is the mix.

Folks are assuming we need to replace Jack with a 195cm marking forward.

Cumbo is as good a replacement as any.

With Ryan and Lynch providing plenty of aerial threat.

This would have been a night he could have gone really well.
A bit of cut out of the ground.
Very canny is Jackmond.
IIRC launched a 60 metre torp "BoomShaKaLaKa" Goal at 3 quarter time to PRE in corresponding match last year.
Reckon Bevo would be thinking much rather face Delilah than Jackmond.
We'll never know now of course.
MC *smile* the 4 points away tonight with their selections.

Over to you now Jack.

Put them on your shoulder and carry the team. Age is just a number.

No doubt he will relish the opportunity.

I can smell it.
Time to channel Mr Brightside.
He will get us over the line with his mate Dusty and the new breed - Sonsie, Cumbo and Judson.
I can feel it brewing. One of those wins..

Brilliant from Jack, still have no idea why so many seem to want to retire him off early when we have no one to replace him. Enjoy him whilst he is still playing footy

Half the player he was. Unfortunately that’s still better than the incumbents. Would have kicked 10 in his prime, left a lot out there.
