Jack Riewoldt [Merged]

It would have been huge if he'd kicked one on those last Q goals, one! Absolutely incredible he kicked both.

I think it’s a bit of a disgrace by the club that they still haven’t made a decision on Jack.

Players the calibre of Jack don't grow on trees. He is irreplaceable.

I hope the club has some form of succession plan. Right now it isn't obvious what it is.

So quite simply he must play on in 2023.

He’s lost his pace, but he was never the quickest.
but he hasn’t lost his ability in clutch moments to perform.
but for me his football nous is 2nd to none in the game.
valuable learnings for the kids coming through.
1 more year please.

is very very slow. very slow. Can kick elite.
He's never been quick. He's brilliant support, but he needs speed and goals nous around him. Remember the three amigos in 2017 Danny, Butler, and George. Jack must have forwards who think quickly and have goal sense. We need a rethink after last night. Shorty needs to go back to where he won a B and F. He is in no man's land at the moment. If we persist with Danny back, then we desperately need MJ to continue his great start. Shai may be best in the middle as an outside mid/forward.
Whatever, we can't be switching players around so much. Small forwards like Eddie and the Tiprat were craftsmen who specialised in their field. (Balta and Gibcus need to stay back and train as defenders. True swingmen are a very rare breed.)

So Jack has suffered this year by not having dangerous smalls around him. This makes it much easier for our opponents to defend and mount a counterattack.

Anyone who is thinking Dusty is the answer, think of the leg speed and defensive chasing of Tommy, Jack, and Dusty!
Great offensively, but the ball flies out of defence, as it did last night.

Must go around again for mine, we have one shot left to fire next year with a fit squad.

We are serious contenders for top 4 if we can hit the season fit which we failed to do this year. m

If Jack goes round for another season, doubt he will not be fulltime in the firsts as we need to blood his replacement somehow. I foresee Jack and Trent being managed

No matter what happens, I'd like to know what the plan is for new key forwards. Beyond Bauer that is.

This year was our last go.
Nakas finished
Broad Grimes & BigV aren't 25 anymore.
Jack yr older.
Cotchin couldn't have played any better

jack and cotch did well this year without being match winners

our weakness is mid fielders - prestia, martin, cotchin, lambert, edwards - all done or diminishing

baker, ross. short, sonsie all have shown glimpses but thats not enough
