He will go to another club, probably one where a Clarkson assistant is coaching. WC already has Mitchell, so it won't be them. It will be out of Richmond, Carlton, GWS, Bullies or Collingwood.

Would think Hodge would be a great addition to the coaching staff at RFC. It would be a coup to get Hodge into the Yellow and Black fold, but I think the odds of the Tigers securing his services anytime soon might be slim.

Collingwood on the other hand tend to do it quietly and then full of denial. theyre masters at it compared to RFC

I truly hope, somehow they sign him up from now. He followed the Tiges as a young kid. Would be a great addition to help the club.

Hodge most likely will take a lucrative media gig for 2018 and have a good look at the AFL landscape and see where he might be able to position himself for future football success.

Agree but Hodge is undertaking a mentor/onfield coaching role while playing now and from all accounts does it well. He is very vocal on the ground so I suspect he takes the lead in marshalling the players on set ups/structures etc. Can't hurt to have someone that has tasted recent success around the boys! I'm sure he wouldn't accept mediocrity.
