pretty sure Ceaser was a bit disappointed with our pre season fitness, he is usually pretty spot on with his reports, poor fitness always results in more than your fair share of injuries threw out the season..

Who was responsible for the poor pre-season?

Was Dimma even there? If not, did it fall to Mini, the assistants as a collective or the fitness team?

Is Caesar a doctor?
Apparently you have to have a medical degree on here to make a comment about our injuries

That was the start of our fitness issues.

Julius foresaw this in his reports.

Hardwick being on another overseas trip when he shouldn’t have been at the first pre season back for ALL the players and set standards early on.

We exited early in the finals in 22, acquired to very good/good midfielders and the coach should have set the tone with our fitness program.

Gave them psychologically an out. Coach was too busy overseas.

Nothing against that. He still could have gone after the players exit interviews and be back for the first session.

I hope Adem rides this group hard and sets a high standard.

Fitness
Speed drills
Strength drills, breaking tackles.
Core exercises.
Ball movement. Set our game plan and drill it to death.

Have you seen the latest information on Gibcus ? That’s why us ill informed people shouldn’t bag medical professionals without the facts, they can end up looking rather silly !

Surprised major questions aren't being asked. History is repeating itself from last year with both match selection & physical performance/conditioning.

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Would’ve thought General Manager Football Performance Tim Livingstone would be all over it as were copping same soft tissue injuries as we did last year

Need to have big, Huge, Massive light shone into this Department.

All practices.
Just can't continue.

How come other clubs don't have so many players falling over?
Effectively killed off the year.
Yes we will play the kids, but just so demoralizing.

Agree. I wonder how many questions Ooze has given since arriving. He's definitely seeing and feeling the truth of the club now.

Tim Livingstone is in charge of the footy department and then Gale runs the club . This falls back on them utter disaster it was a poor appointment. The same history is repeating itself. This is a footy department that didn't give Balme a position and now made him redundant end of the year the bloke who turned the whole footy department around and rated as one of the bestfooty administrators in the last decade work that out even part time role. It wasn't Tim Livingstone who change it around in 2017.

Absolute clean out needed in strength & conditioning including medical treatment. This turned into farce last year & again this year. Simply not good enough.

Every other club manages the conditioning of older players better than us. Every other club better physically develops their younger players.

Out sorry list of messes is growing. Gibcus we all know about. Prestia’s mismanagement after Rd 1, Hopper’s injury, Fawcett - back? Did we stuff up his pre-season loads? Now Martin.

For goodness sake - fix it via change. Surely we can afford better staff.
