The Good Nurse on Netflix is a good watch, albeit a very uncomfortable one.

Another example of the *smile* up healthcare system in the greatest country on earth.
Yep, watched it last night.

The Australian health system has it's faults, but it's brilliant next to that of the US.

The thing I can't understand for the life of me is protests in the streets AGAINST improvements in their health care system. It's socialism apparently.

Given it's Halloween what are people's favourite horror movies?

Last night I watched the Spanish film REC. Pretty good done in a Blair Witch style.
My favourite ever scary movie would be The Exorcist easily but not sure I could watch it twice.

Horrors aren't my chop (especially slasher and gore stuff), but currently watching Friday the 13th......don't know why but haven't seen it for yonks and decided to record it on IQ.

Kevin Bacon's youngest I've ever seen him.

Watched it a few times over the years n it's fairly dated now, but first time in it gave me a serious dose of the Heebie Jeebies. Was about 17 or 18 way back when I first saw it. Don't mind a decent horror show, gotta have some proper slow build up to the creepy nasty stuff. Simple slash n burn gory stuff isn't really in the same ball park.

Not a fan of horror (slasher/gore) but -

Alien
Get Out
The Thing
An American Werewolf in London
Poltergeist (scared the crap out of me as a kid - that clown under the bed!)
The Wicker Man

Just watched The Fanatic on Prime Video with John Travolta.

Worth a look for the performance of Travolta which is interesting to say the least, also probably the worst ending in the history of movies.

Alien and Poltergeist were bloody quality. Just watched that Get Out a couple of weeks ago n thought it was fairly ordinary, then watched Us n it's even worse. Not sure I'll bother with the third effort.

Name me one thing Dwayne Johnson's ever done that wasn't garbage.
Every Stone Cold match at Wrestlemania. Masterpieces.

The Fast and Furious series is a tremendous nonsense series. Walking Tall is a gem.

He's Sly Stallone & Arnie for this generation. Not everything has to be highbrow.

I’d add Silence of the Lambs to that. Hopkins as Lecter was hypnotically frightening.
