He played ok However the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about is that his opponent regularly chalks up 35-45 possies . He had 20p this week so the differential was only 20, often he has only 10-11 and the diff is near 30 and you wonder why we re being killed in the midfield

Had an unbelievable 111 pressure points. To put that in perspective our next best was Prestia with 75 and then Higgins with 67.

But what does that result in? Does it create turnovers or is it simply that he arrives late most often?

You love stats in isolation.

What's happened to the first year Graham?
I reckon he's exactly the same as he was then. if you look back to my posts iearlier in this thread I was warning that posters here were severely overrating him.

People got seduced by what was a great final series (considering his age) and assumed that the following years he would only improve. It's a fair assumption, but is not always the case, especially with guys picked later in the draft.

He's not a total bust. I reckon we should focus on developing him as a specialist tagger. He should watch every game played the last 2 years by Hutchings and *smile* and emulate that. These players are very valuable to their respective teams.

That’s good enough for me. Hutchings showed how you should play on Steele Sidebottom.

Agreed. Cunnington being well held by de Boer today, whereas we just let him run rampant, year after year.

I agree , if greenwood can carve a decent career as a tagger or de boar I can’t see why graham couldn’t , for mine that’s his greatest chance of forging a longer career as his offensive game just doesn’t impact to the level that his opponents do . If the answers no , I don’t reckon he’s a long termer, love him to prove me wrong of course

I don't think Graham is fast enough to play as a tagger on the game's best mids. I know he did a job on Sloane in the GF but Rory ain't quick.
Don’t reckon the 2 names above would be any Stawell gift winners either

Played alright in a match where we had no ruck and Graham was our first line heavy hitter mid.
Still a kid so lets not cap his ceiling yet. Lets keep him developing offensively and see what we can get. Its not over yet

Every time he got possession it turned into a scoring opportunity for stkilda.
Very poor by hand even worse by foot.
Really like the kid but that was a *smile* game

I thought he was good. Was he playing on Gresham? It appeared he was on him a bit and Gresham had little impact which was a win for us as he usually destroys us.

Good to see him getting the pill, needs to get 22-25 a game to be a legitimate long term mid and seems to be tracking in this direction (finally).

For a bloke who kicked 3 goals in a grand final in his 5th game, I think we can permanently eliminate the word 'finally'.

Unless maybe you're using it as an adjective to describe the kind of football he plays.
