Going to be a big ask for him to get back
We may have to throw our q final to get a semi into sheds, dion and dave
Burge said the injury has healed well, it was the infection that has delayed him. He'll play.
I am in pain just reading about it.....ouch.E Z mate syndesmosis in simple terms is just the area where the tibia and fibula bones meet up together at the ankle joint, thus they call it a high ankle sprain.
This joint is supported by ligaments which are the syndesmosis ligaments.
When these ligaments are stretched torn or strained the two main lower leg bones (Tibia and Fibula can be separated from each other).
In severe injuries sheering injuries twisting with high rotation force the fibula bone can often be fractured or even the Tibia in high velocity and impact trauma injuries.
When players do ankle injuries the Drs and Physios can gauge the strength or integrity of the joint by squeezing the ankle from the back bone fibula and pain and instability or even crepitus from it can often indicate a syndesmosis injury with pain aiding in severity of ligamental injury possible bone separation, or even lend suspicion to any possibilty of fracture but I'm no specialist here.
Dont know about the old OP i'm sure its still around but its returned to being a passe chronic groin injuriy.
Big Richo might have a better explanation Im' not involved in Osteo or Physio.
I would probably prefer to see him put in cotton wool and saved for next year. Unless there is an injury to cotchin or another key mid. He will be very rusty going into a final.
I am not too concerned about rushing Prestia back from injury as Bolton has been a revelation in his position these last few weeks so we will not be missing Dion as much as first fearedWe'll play him on the bench and increase minutes through the finals. A risk but worth it.
Nank had the same injury didn’t he and he came back against the Eagles and played well - I am not sure how much game time he had but I wouldn‘t be too worried re Prestia if when he comes back he plays similarl.

What a dream for us and a nightmare for the oppositionWas thinking the same thing UKtigs, Bolton has been excellent and keeps getting better. Imagine having him and a fit Prestia in the midfield rotation though... hard to stop.
The club is saying finals, but Balme thinks he’ll be right for Wednesday so I’m not sure what to believe.
That’s the same thing, you’ve always got to ad 2-3 weeks to Balmeys predictionThe club is saying finals, but Balme thinks he’ll be right for Wednesday so I’m not sure what to believe.
