Rhyan Mansell welcome to Tigerland

An honest trier but manages to disappear at times so for me not a true team man. Not AFL standard is we want to win so should ply his trade at the VF level. That said , he should shoulder the blame for missing the sitter at Dreamtime and the win as we had so many others who missed even easier kicks on the night. It was a night when the whole team were down in so many ways not least, kicking

Ran around got a few touches Didn’t trouble the scoreboard Poor game for a small forward
Needs to kick at least 2 goals a game to justify his spot in the team

Most small forwards are goal a game at best. Elite ones will be higher but Mansell is never going to be Elite.

Yeah I thought he had a decent game. Sometimes it goes great and you get a couple of goals, other times you'll get no goals, but he remained involved, and had the joint 2nd highest score involvements on our team with 8.

More touches and tackles, than Cotchin, Martin, Graham and MacIntosh, on the day.
He's not the long term answer, but he works his ring off.

He will never be George. George created chaos and impacted the contest continually. Mansell just offers nothing
Cameo moments and even those arent any good

As a team he offers us nothing more skilled players cannot offer. Needs to be delisted at season's end.

Mansell will be lucky to be average as a forward
Cumbo with 14 games has kicked 25 goals That’s average of 1.8 goals per game
Thats borderline elite but hey let’s have Mansell that averages 0.7 goals a game ahead of him
Its sheer madness

Again another player who is playing out position this venture should be stopped now. At best he is a lock down defender.

He's been decent this season for the most part, but just watching on TV, today didn't look like a very good day for him.

Not sure there are any other options as a small pressure forward. He's done well given his deficiencies playing in a new position. He's behind Baker, Rioli, & Short as a small defender as a starting point. Then you have Smith to come back next year. Grimes, Vlastuin & Brown can all play smaller if called upon as well so there's very little chance Nige will ever be used as a defender in the short term while the seasoned players continue to play.

Still don't think Mansell is the answer to our problems. He tends to go missing at times and hasn't the football nous for AFL level. You can't doubt he tries but that is not enough in my opinion

Just because theres too many defenders shouldn’t mean you get a game as a forward when you have no forward nous

Has been ok as a small forward. It's frustrating watching him getting out marked by a taller opponent when he's leading up to the wing though.
Bombing it out of defence, or into our forward line where we don't have ANYONE who can take a grab is madness. Bauer can at least take a mark.

come on you obviously haven't noticed his run down tackles like Butler used to do, more important than goals, or just as important - because Cumbo is basically useless at it apparently and gets a bit sooky as well

How many weeks tried in the forward line and what we seen the occasional goal and defence. I must be watching different game his no forward tagger or nothing.
