That was one issue, but there we're others to. Players with poor footy skills and can't hit targets need to be weaned out of the team there not negotiable.Flaws in Skills can't be fixed.
Our footskills would be ranked 19th

These are the stats from our core midfield last night

Prestia 6 kicks 8 HB
Hopper 7-16
Dow 4-16
Baker 9-13
Graham 4-10
Ross 2-5
Tarranto 8 -18
The only bloke to kick the ball more then handballing was Dusty 13 kicks 5 handballs
and we kick points ......... pressure or a lack of skill take your pick........you don't get extra points or any points for gettable goals ...........We did create a lot of very gettable goals, early on as well
With the game blown away the camera lingered on Yze in the box, arms folded, face grim, numbers behind the ball. It was an educational Escort Cup match.
my Nana and Pop's week-long honeymoon constricted quite suddenly to a half day-long honeymoon,
by a short-half head at the Moonee Valley races.
Yze's 10 unanswered goals, on the way to winning the war on drug last week,
was perhaps a longer and more fulfilling honeymoon?

Fast becoming a very disliked pairing. Nick is going to fast gather a reputation similar to Selwood. Would not surprise to see him subject to some booing. He's got some amazing traits but this part of his game is very irksome!Theres a new free for Daicos Bros - 'shat pants, nick daicos'
Exactly right. Luck is their gift. Fluked goals, flogs in love with their backsides, best new coach went to them, copying our blueprint......Just a good hit out for mine against a quality side. Plenty for Yze to work on, and if gives him a clear picture of where we're at. Prefer a 5 goal loss against a good side, than a 5 goal win against a poor side.
Happy to trial Balta up forward, but FFS he's an elite interceptor in the backline, and he's an 80 metre player with speed to get us out of trouble. Sure he got some kicked on him last year and has some brain farts, but let him develop there. I think Gibbo would be more comfortable as a forward.
As has been mentioned, 23-8 frees. Obviously we're use to this nonsense, but it doesn't make it any easier to cope with. You can see the despondency in the players. Work your arse off only for the umps to pay a soft free to the oppo, or miss one to us. Our players were baffled by that *smile* one, threw his head back and got the free.
Collingwood are very fortunate, good luck to them but FFS. Getting 3 elite F/Ss in one team is lucky. Lucky their parents had a boy, and not a girl like most of our ex-players. Lucky they have elite skills, unlike our F/Ss Raines, Naish, Roach etc. And then you have Pendlebury and Sidebottom still playing elite footy at their age. Imagine if we still had Cotch and Lambert still playing in 2017 form.
With poor skillsRalphsmith and Clarke need to be playing….they are excellent runners.

Unfortunately he never changed and ended penniless & miserable, living in a converted garage in Salisbury Adelaide.
Unfortunately serenity was never part of my Uncles life. Gun footy player (played state footy for SA) but could never handle the punt. Coached a in Tassie and country VIC after his SA career ended. Burnt a few bridges in those towns is the story (gambling debts). Could never find peace.the elbows were out of Pop's cardigan.
and he drank a lot of booze to medicate the melancholy,
but he had one of the most picturesque cottages on a hill in the Central Highlands.
and lots of happy times;
