Shedda was on the angry pills. Dumped Walsh after he disposed of it in the first quarter, lucky not to draw attention for a rough tackle on Murphy in the second, and got shovey in Williamson's face after catching him holding the ball in the third.

New dad. Is he getting enough sleep?
He’s been much more physical the last few seasons and played particularly angry the last couple of GF”s. And he’s surprisingly good at the hurt.

After his public comment about Rd 1 being carltons grand final, it wouldn’t have surprised me if they targeted him.
And it says a lot about his mental toughness / determination , with the attention those comments received ,

He still went out and dominated , it wasnt a distraction at all , he seemed to almost thrive in it

He was roughed up by opposition teams for the first decade of this career. Payback time.

Just listening to Shane being interviewed. ..... extremely impressive fella... in part, credits Daniel Rioli's arrival at Richmond for the way we now play..... maybe that's why Dimma cuts him some slack when many think he needs a spell.

Flying to Darwin today through tropical storms and being an anxious scaredy-cat I find myself repeating ‘I am a Shane Edwards handpass’ to myself as a mantra that soothes my fear of a rapid, premature landing

Joins the top 10 list of Tigers appearances tomorrow :clap2 :clap2

I reckon in a few years time, he and Jack may well be 2 and 3 on our most games list.

Good to see Shedda finally getting the recognition he deserves.

I hope he gets to join the 300 game club, I'm very confident he will.

There's only been 5 indigenous players play 300 games, Burgoyne, Goodes, McLeod, Betts and O'Loughlin.

Our Shedda won't be out of place in that group, what a star he is.

He is already better then O'Loughlin and Betts.
He sits comfortably next to Burgoyne.
Watching Edwards today is like watching Burgoyne between 2012-2015..

In our long history we’ve only ever had 3 players get to 300, this current team could very well produce 3 more - Jack, Shane and Dusty.

Cheers, there's some great players in that list.
I might be biased, but Shedda is the standout for setting up play, and making his teammates better.

You've got the captain pulling the pin next year I take it? (Having said that, theoretically he could get there by the end of 2022 I think?)

Funny part is there has been a fair few Aboriginal players who haven't played 300 games that were better than some if not most on that list.

Buddy Franklin, Peter Matera, Gav Wanganeen, Polly Farmer, Maurice Rioli, Cyril Rioli, Barry Cable, Nicky Winmar, Michael Long, Darryl White, Magic, McLean, and of course the amazing Krakouer Bros.

Shedda is one tough footballer.

His tackling last night was intense.

I just worry if his body will let him get there.

Based on his size and build that’s an understandable worry but he just seems so robust and unbreakable
Hopefully he can continue to play this same game and (as they say in the classics) just keep on keeping on
