Very sad news, I hope his family are getting all the support they need at this time. Terrible tragedy.

RIP Tucky. I loved your blue collar game - you had the heart of a tiger.

RIP Tucky. Great example of a player not overly abundant in talent who worked his butt off and never left anything on the field. Respect.

First reaction..really sad. Second reaction...WHY???
On the news they said he tried pro boxing after footy but that's all. I thought he had a trade to fall back on but perhaps not. This coronavirus shutdown may have cut down his work opportunities, losing self respect...who knows. To leave a wife and young kids is so hard to believe but I guess that's what depression does to you, you don't process things rationally.
Look out for each other guys, call up a friend you haven't spoken to in a while, ask how they are going.
R.I.P. Tucky.

And with all the pain Garry Jr is going through, he now loses his cousin. Sad times for a great footy family.

Shocked to hear the news. Tucky was one of the toughest players we had. He also played a great role protecting our young mids like Cotch, Lids, Shedda and Dusty (although he never really needed much protecting!). So incredibly sad for his wife and kids, Mum and Dad, family etc. R.I.P. Tucky #21

I've got a memory that Tucky nearly retired early in Dimma's tenure as he wasn't getting many games, but Dimma talked him into giving it another crack?

that happened. Dimma said he might not play every week but was still needed at the club

Such sad news.

I remember Tuck as a very reliable player when we were so unreliable. A real credit to the jumper, to the club and to himself.

Just can't believe he is gone at 38.

His wife and kids must be devastated, they surely will be looked after.

So sad to hear of Shane Tuck’s passing. Condolences to his family at this desperately terrible time. He was a wonderfully committed player that tried his guts out in every game. The big bodied, contested midfielder we needed, especially when a young Cotchin & Martin were first starting out. We were a decent contested ball team with Tuck & Dan Jackson in the middle. Lots of great memories of No. 21 giving his all. R.I.P Shane Tuck.

And produced his best season as a 30yo.

Not sure about this list - if anyone deems it inappropriate, say so and I'll remove.
