Himmelberg would have to be in our plans even if Bradtke shows good signs this year

I think if he was to leave GWS that Richmond would be favourites for a few good reasons

Big Club
Plays MCG
Great Culture
Has mates already here
Likes playing foward and has Jacks spot waiting
Playing alongside Lynch and not getting the best defender

Go on Blair get it done

Moggs will be in for him also no doubt.

King is the other one thats gonna have a frenzy of enquiries for the near future.

Ben McKay at Norf is the other that may well be of interest to a few clubs.

Yeah, you'd think it would be a tall, might depend on how Bradtke progresses.
Homegrown players are so much more satisfying when they make it. I’m hoping one or more of Ryan, Bauer and bradke step up. But himmelburg is a good athletic forward. Works hard.

We're going to need a fair bit this off season. Hopefully Cotch and Jacks salary allows us to make some moves without having any early draft pricks.

With the arrival of the GW$ lads I doubt there's enough cash in the cap for a free agent this year but you never know.
Tarrant would be on decent coin you would think, and this would definitely be his last year. Add in Chimp and Jacks retirements, and there’s a bit to spend.

Dusty only one more year of big money.
Any deals can be slightly back ended to make it work.
Chimp, George,Jack and Tarrant should add enough cash for a player.
They’re maybe a few boys who want to go home as well.
Either way our team will be very different next year.

Chimp -450
Jack -450
George -400
Tarrant - 450

Guestimate. Chimp and Jack on base coin. George wouldnt have been on much more. Tarrant came over the 2 years promised so again around the mark.

Prob 1.5-1.8 ish or more for those 4 players

Realistically all clubs would have that much available most years with older players retiring and delistings

But who of our lot is coming off contract that will demand decent coin? It won’t be all available to spend. Has de Koning at Carlton signed an extension yet?

Not sure we've got that many coming out of contract at the moment who would be looking at a big upgrade of payment.

Considering the way we've been playing recently, perhaps we should be looking at a bit of a refund / discount from some players.

I'd be keeping an eye on Toby McLean. Knee recos in 2020 and 2021 so has missed a lot of footy and you'd want to make sure he's medically sound, but can play and if fit would add to our team and wouldn't cost too much. Unrestricted free agent. Bit of Shedda about him. Turns 28 in January, same as Short. Just keep an eye on him, see if he starts looking like his old self. (Not yet.)
