When Dunstall was listing all the great charity work Clarkson does and Sam Pang chips in with "was a guest on the Bounce" I p!ssed myself.

The Front Bar had 281,000 in Melbourne, the Footy Show had 137,000 :clap

Don't bother with another revamp Eddie, the show's irrelevant and like yesterdays fish and chips papers.

Just watched it today, ripping show, just a non stop *smile* take. One of very few shows I bother to watch. Spend an hour here and there channel surfing through dross then just walk away n grab a book, always get the missus to record the front bar so that I've occasionally got a reason to turn the set on, even saw some of the marngrook show today, they had Shorty on so I watched for a while.

Melbourne.....sometimes Broome
The best bit was when they asked those Collingwood bogans where they got their bar stools from, and they said “Victoria Park”, then they asked how did you get them, answer “We stole them!”.......Gold

I remember Jimmy Jess doing a footy clinic at our primary school with Barry Rowlings.

We were all begging him to kick a torp which he did and I thought it was the best thing ever...never seen a kick so big, up so close.

Same. Came to our footy training and we got him to kick a torp and he nailed it. Truly amazing experience as a kid and Tiger fan. Interestingly, opened a video store 500 metres down the road from that torp after he retired.

How's the one that he said was his best torp ever?

KB's 400th, players signing footys after the game to give to the crowd, and he decided to torp one towards the back of the old Southern Stand about where his dad was.
And hit him on the chest, spilling his beer! Awesome

I was at the G one day and Jimmy did a torp from back line around 20 metres out of goal to at least centre half forward. Must have been close to 90 metres. Not kidding!

After the Jack Dyer medal one night, I found him wandering around the Casino, trying to get out. He was seriously lost. Said he was just trying to get back to the bush!!
Then the day after the G.F last year, I bumped into him with some mates at a pub on Swan St and we had several beers with him and sung the club song with him about 3 times. What a weekend that was.

That was classic! Really enjoy the Front Bar but last week they had Brereton on....the contrast with Jimmy Jess was pretty stark. Brereton was a great player no doubt, but sheesh what a big head...they couldn't shut him up. Jimmy Jess on the other hand was humble and genuinely funny....seemed like a really good bloke.

A dead set legend is the Ghost, one of my all time favourites.

On open Mike he told a story about when he was a kid going to school on school bus, his girlfriend was sick, she had morning sickness.

But it was meant to be, they've been married for over 40 years. :clap

Pang and Molloy are a great combination. Even Maher works well with them, he tends to laugh before the punchlines as he knows whats coming up. Also they bring out the funny side of all their guests. Woosha was quite funny last night and Dermie was a pisser last week.
