Can we just stop and put an end to the farce of playing Dow in the AFL
Hes not up to this standard and McAuliffe or Sonz should take his spot

No pressure young Thomson. But this is probably the most consequential game in your life.
Starting this week, this batch of games is probably the best opportunity you will ever have to get your hands on a 1.5 million check. If you play a solid batch of games over the next month or so, a 3 year contract will be headed your way. But if you don't take this massive opportunity then Sonsie or McAuliffe or (young mid not getting midfield time elsewhere) will sign that check......
No soup for you. Next!
It appears when competing against mature opposition, he can only win contested possessions at AFL level when sweeping into a contest with momentum because he seems to have no idea how to use his body from a standing start. It is ridiculously easy to get him slightly off balance and thus gain a small advantage which is all players at this level need to explode away and burn you. And the cherry on top, he has no power in his legs to catch others if they have a step on him, let alone put any type of pressure on, which makes him a massive liability at center clearances at AFL level.

Dow and Hugo both in their 5th years and both are list cloggers' and both should've been gone over the past season or two.

The 2019 draft was not a good one for the RFC,, the club won the flag in emphatic fashion but the recruiters missed with pretty much every shot they took apart from Cumbo who still has question marks on him..

Marlion Mid season the only positive but we are talking November draft.

Tigers lost Butler and Bobble 2 pacey runners and replaced them with these 2 spuds along with Will Martyn (bigger Spud ) and Biggy Nyuon. Hubris drafting this draft has helped to land the club where it is now.

If Clarke was responsible for this draft then him going to WA is not a bad result.

Leave them both in the VFL for the rest of the season and promote others who have more about them.

McAuliffe, Sonsie, Jud , Coult , Smithy and Green let them have at it, they all offer either more speed or more skill.
To be fair to Clarke the 2019 draft after pick 20 looks very lean. Chad Warner and Trent Rivers are diamonds and worth top 5 picks. Kiddy Coleman was a 19yo overlooked the previous year. The rest? Meh.
The next selection after Dow was Robertson who I was dead keen on (competitive ruckrover). He just had 6 disposals against Freo.
ON the other hand Melbourne smashed it. Imo thats who we need to target

I reckon folks are being a bit harsh on Dow. Besides the facts he is an average handballer (which is his strength), a poor kick, a weak tackler, ineffective at stoppages, slow with the ball, slower without it, and can't actually get it, he is ok.
