Training For Redemption in 2022

Tarrant & Parker must have thought FMD

This is alot harder than what we did at the Aint's and Norf

Stack was on the news
Once again struggling to compete running drills.
Does this kid really want play AFL?

Don't believe everything that's shown. They did at least 5 sets of 3 x 120 meter run throughs. In sets 1 and 2 Stacky was right up with them. In set 3 he trailled in by 20 meters. In set 4 he was about 50 meters back. In set 5 he was a lap behind. He struggled badly in the last one but was only about 50 meters behind MRJ. MRJ then cramped up badly in the very next drill (kicking drill) whereas Stacky was doing OK.

Dunno what was shown (can't be bothered), but the run throughs were minutes 75 to 90 of a 140 minute session. And Stacky was still going OK at minute 80.

I may have missed a set as Caesar said they did 6 sets, I saw them finish 1 set and watched them run 4 more sets.

First way to early observation from one photo forty five minutes in, Kane Lambert looks HUGGGGGGEEEEEEE.

Syd has returned in ripping nick. Same with Jack Ross, looks slimmer. Midfield build. And RCD looks great.

Great sign Lynch and Nank out there. Still have hope that both can have A+ years in 22. I’m far too excited for November.

Nothing new it seems

Just want to see this kid put in the work before he comes back , Really frustrating he comes back in such bad shape constantly
I am not concerned at this point, Syd has good body definition and seemed engaged in proceedings, if he can stay on the straight and narrow hopefully with eyes now on him his fitness can improve quickly.
Of course I would prefer to see him more advanced straight off the bat.

How did Parker train Julius? Convincing?

Parker right up there in the sprints so couldn't fault him, 1st Richmond pre-season so let's see what that brings although we pretty much know what you get with Parker but hopefully we get an improved version now that he has learnt the Richmond way.

He looked gassed on telly.
He was miles behind the group.
But still 4 months to go.

Yes HK is right there were additional running drills to the shuttles as far as shuttles go, maybe I couldn't count & there may have been only 5.

Lambert couldnt keep up with RCD
This was obviously a joke as Lambo not training with main group although doing a power of work and smashing out the laps at the end of his own session.

I saw one word in that Sydney Stack face - committed. Go Stacky boy!

Thanks Julius for your effort. I don't care what errors this guy makes as long as he's right into the game and not lazing about.

Agree but he has now been at the club nearly 3 years and you would think he would have learned to do some work away from the club so he comes back better each year and doesnt need to catchup as much. Happy that he put the extra's in after the session but really needs to get this aspect of his life in order and at a pro level/ Even RCD is showing signs of finally getting his tank upto the level. Just disappointed as the sky is the limit with SS and seems like he just lazy

Thanks for the training update mate - Excellent as usual

Wasn't he just. Those 6 to 8 300's he ran were impressive. He looked very focussed.

So many assumptions made here.
No evidence that he didn’t come back in great nick or that he’s lazy.
He may just be a *smile* endurance runner.
Let’s give him some space and freedom from speculation. Next season will tell you all you need to know.

I've got high hopes for RCD next year, but I'd like to have seen a little more muscle definition by now. Even if he is more 'outside', he needs to be physically strong enough to compete.

The media a keen to pick on stacks - they are just dumb, attention seeking vultures.

As for supporters, if you expect Stack to run and train like a Lambert or Grigg, then think again, they are completely different beings. The fact Stack is there and what appears to be in good shape is a massive for this team and it bodes really well that Stack will be back come round 1.

Some of the comments on hear - please - give him a break and back the lad in.
