Tyler Sonsie

I thin k this is more likely but he's still not an established 22 player, 4 years in. Gotta start making waves..

Certainly don't disagree with that one Oldie. I still have hope that he makes it, but he needs to really smash the door down this year and take his chances when he gets them.

He halved a couple of aerial contests on the outer wing against taller opponents to prevent Carlton transitioning out of defence. Had to go from front spot. Pleasing progression in that respect.
I want to give Sonsie more game time but I think he lost his place because he dropped a sitter on the wing when in front. Luckily was gifted a free.

Bailey Dale type role might be his spot.
HBF.
In heavy traffic it needs a calm head and a good kick

How about Sonsie on ball in 1sts. Can't be worse than the porridge brigade and much younger. Come on Yze it's a no brainer

After being the sub against the Blues, he's gone back to the VFL with a good attitude and played well, good on him.

It must be his tank holding him back because he is a genuine midfielder. Knows exactly where to position himself at stoppage. That goal in the last had a lost of class about it too.

No doubt he has some issues and has been massively disappointing since the '23 but anyone who thinks he can't play should've gone to specsavers

He definitely has class. Pace still an issue and that’s why I have Mcaullife ahead of him.

But if he is selected then he must play midfield.

Otherwise leave him in the VFL. No point plonking him on a half forward flank.

I've been a supporter since before we even drafted him but the AFL game just seems too quick, hard and relentless for him. He has a lot more time and space at VFL level that he just won't get in the ones. He's not quick enough, dynamic enough, hard enough, and can't run hard enough.

Played well today but I reckon I’ve seen him play at least a dozen games like that in VFL level over the years now.

Fast becoming another RCD, Martyn, Dow type. Very good in the VFL but that’s his level.

Just play him. Much prefer to watch him fail than Dow. At least he can kick.

Really is ridiculous if doesn’t get last chance saloon in the midfield in the seniors. We have nothing to lose, and if he fails the decision is clear cut for the end of the year

Elite hands but the bloke has no defensive side to his game. Laid 1 tackle today.
Happy to be proven wrong, but I just don’t see where he fits in the side.
